Well, this is getting interesting.
Watching Yargard leave, Duanmu Huai fell into deep thought. In theory, the Inquisition indeed shouldn't interfere in political affairs, but this time... well, actually, it wasn't an exception either.
The reason was simple. The reason Duanmu Huai had agreed to Prince Yargard's request was naturally because he had a condition of his own.
The Elf Magic had to be eradicated.
If Duanmu Huai had initially been unsure what Elf Magic was, then after spending so much time with Euphilia, he had already confirmed it—the so-called Magical Elves were actually a type of Warp Space creature.
To be honest, this didn't surprise Duanmu Huai in the slightest. There were plenty of similar things. Take the Psyker shamans under the Space Wolves in the Primarch Legions, for example. Back then, they had been entangled with something on the Space Wolves' Homeworld called the Storm Wolf Soul, believing it to be some sort of guide of nature and spouting all kinds of nonsense.
Well, as it turned out, they were still a bunch of Warp Space demons.
In fact, anything that didn't live in the real world could basically be classified as a Warp Space demon.
That included, but wasn't limited to, Elves, ghosts, evil spirits, and the like...
So, in the strict sense, those Native Gods were also Warp Space demons. They just happened to be the relatively recruitable kind.
To put it simply, even the local crime boss had some power. At the very least, when an outsider gang came to attack, they wouldn't immediately raise their hands and surrender.
Although these Magical Elves didn't seem to be bad things for now, when it came to Warp Space creations, the Inquisition had always preferred killing the wrong target to letting one slip by.
Thus, Duanmu Huai
