Duanmu Huai leaped into the air and raised the warhammer in his hand high above the altar before him. Hearing his furious roar, Yargard hurriedly retreated. Then Duanmu Huai let out another roar and brought the hammer crashing down on the altar.

"Boom!!"

The thunder-wreathed warhammer slammed directly into the center of the altar, colliding with the pillar of fire erupting from it. In the next moment, the pillar of fire rapidly expanded and exploded, then completely dissipated amid a shriek that sounded almost like a scream. The altar before them was also smashed to pieces by Duanmu Huai's hammer.

However, the matter did not end there. At the same time Duanmu Huai attacked, the guards stationed around the area seemed to have been contaminated by the Magical Elves as well. Their eyes glowed with dazzling magical radiance, while their bodies rapidly withered. In the blink of an eye, the previously sturdy young men had transformed into mummy-like monsters. Waving their weapons, they pounced on the others.

Seeing this scene, Anisphia was also shocked. Clutching the Magic Sword in her hand, she faced the soldiers charging at her, unsure of what to do. Fortunately, the warhammer came sweeping through like a hurricane, clearing away all the guards beside Anisphia.
