Mei joined World Serpent to protect Kiana, completed trials involving Herrscher cores and the dead, and entered the Elysian Realm, where she met Apponia.

• The Light Screen retraced Otto’s life, showing his search for Kallen’s resurrection, his crimes, and his final choice to sacrifice his existence for her future.

• Kevin revealed the Holy Mark Plan, which would screen humanity and eliminate those deemed unsuitable, while Kiana vowed to defend everyone’s right to choose.

• Mei faced the dead in a wasteland, acknowledged her grief and responsibility, and used her lightning to soothe the souls and nurture a seedling.
