Wei Xiuming had an idea after hanging up the phone. He suspected the Blood Clan had targeted the Parkers and likely succeeded.

As for making excuses about needing the plot to develop according to the established setting, or writers not knowing how to arrange the Parkers' storyline, Wei Xiuming disdained such actions. It was simply that the technology the Parkers possessed was blocking his path.

In the Sea Tiger world, power was generally tied to mental strength; individuals became stronger by finding their true selves, unswayed by distractions. The purer one's core, the stronger they were, but this purity could manifest as pure love, pure hate, or extreme selfishness and selflessness.

After obtaining the future trajectory from Ancient One and confirming his own future would unfold as he desired, Wei Xiuming, who had been anxious due to the Infinite Flow male lead, felt an unprecedented sense of stability. Nothing could interfere with his decisions.

Stepping onto a hoverboard, which was difficult to use and thus stored in a warehouse, Wei Xiuming headed straight for Area B-2. There, he saw Coulson and the aircraft they were about to board waiting for him.

Compared to a few years ago, Coulson still maintained his approachable demeanor, though his hairline had receded slightly.

Although he guessed Nick Fury would want him to reach his destination as quickly as possible, Wei Xiuming had thought a helicopter would suffice. He hadn't expected to find a Quinjet waiting there.

Capable of flight, sea travel, supersonic speeds, vertical takeoff and landing, and stealth – these elements combined in one aircraft made it an undeniable strategic weapon. It belonged solely to S.H.I.E.L.D. and was one of their trump cards in shouldering the responsibility of maintaining world peace. Other assets, like nuclear bombs, were another matter entirely; even "Black Egg" himself might not know the exact number of deterrents in his arsenal.

Once the aircraft took off and entered stealth mode, Wei Xiuming looked at Coulson, one of the "newbie village chiefs" of Marvel, and asked with interest, "Mr. Coulson, I heard you're a big fan of Captain America?"

Coulson was surprised that Wei Xiuming's first question would be such a thing. He replied, "Yes, Captain America is a hero to all of humanity..."

"Oh, come on!" Wei Xiuming's magnetic field ability sensed little fluctuation in Coulson's emotions. He figured Captain America, that old popsicle, hadn't been dug up yet, so he interrupted Coulson's praise for Captain America. "The image of Captain America you know is just propaganda. He was just an ordinary person, an enhanced ordinary person, with his own regrets and loneliness deep down. Don't hold him up as a perfect saint."

Coulson immediately became alert upon hearing this. As a trusted confidant of Nick Fury, he possessed intelligence beyond his agent level. For example, Fury had informed Coulson that Wei Xiuming was actually from the future and had instructed him to pay close attention to Wei Xiuming's every word, as they might contain clues to the future.

Wei Xiuming's seemingly casual mention of Captain America, a martyr who sacrificed himself for the liberation of all humanity, must have had a reason behind it.

Could it be that Captain America was still alive, would be active as a superhero in the near future, and then, for personal emotional reasons, would betray public trust? Coulson made a bold guess, then dismissed the idea.

Captain America had heroically sacrificed himself in battle against Hydra's super-soldier, Red Skull. This was the official narrative, and what Coulson understood... but what if this understanding was wrong?

However, Coulson didn't treat his speculative analysis as confirmed fact. Reality wasn't a Japanese detective manga. He simply filed Wei Xiuming's words away in his mind, intending to report them to Nick Fury when the time was right.

After crudely interrupting the topic of Captain America, the two fell silent for the rest of the journey. The usually composed Coulson became somewhat restless, partly due to the discomfort of the aircraft's high-speed flight, and partly because he wanted to subtly glean more information from Wei Xiuming.

Wei Xiuming, however, was unbothered. In his mind, he was elaborating on every aspect of the "Shuka" organization he had fabricated, striving to make it as complete as possible. For instance, he considered incorporating elements that alluded to Hydra.

Thinking this, Wei Xiuming realized he had fallen into a mental trap, possibly misled by fanfiction from his previous life. Since Hydra harbored ambitions of world domination, and those ambitions didn't conflict with his own goals, why not cooperate with them?

Or, to be more precise, why not use Hydra's power to help achieve his own objectives? After all, it was just a matter of saying "Hail Hydra."

The Quinjet landed at a military base, not the S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters' Triskelion building that Wei Xiuming had anticipated.

Upon arrival, Coulson no longer escorted him. Instead, several staff members in white lab coats took over guiding Wei Xiuming. After undergoing familiar decontamination procedures, Wei Xiuming changed into a hazmat suit and passed through several isolation and security doors, finally meeting Nick Fury, who was also in a hazmat suit.

In the center of the room was a coffin-like device. Light occasionally shone through its transparent lid, illuminating the surroundings. Through his superpower senses, Wei Xiuming perceived the essence of that light as destruction.

Although the barrier of the lid significantly reduced the lethality of the escaping light, to the point where prolonged exposure would only cause sunburn, a direct, unprotected blast at close range would still cause severe damage to his body.

Furthermore, the intermittent flashing indicated that something within the device was constantly being destroyed, likely a highly regenerative organism.

"Clark Kent, your prediction was accurate. Richard Parker and his wife, Mary Parker, truly met with an accident." Black Egg's voice was heavy. The loss of an old friend was not a pleasant feeling.

"Can you confirm it?" Wei Xiuming deliberately paused before slowly saying, "Did they go missing or were they attacked? Are they alive or dead? If dead, where are their remains?"

"We can confirm. Both died in a plane crash, along with the entire crew and all passengers on board, including seven S.H.I.E.L.D. agents who were on a protection mission. Their bodies are in the morgue in another area; DNA testing can confirm their identities." Nick Fury handed Wei Xiuming a folder. "But before the crash, most people on the plane had already been killed. The killer is the one contained within this thing in front of us."

Wei Xiuming quickly flipped through the autopsy report, then stepped forward, standing beside Nick Fury, and looked at the coffin-like device. Inside was a blurry mass of flesh and blood.
