Theory of Threat

The mass of flesh, though appearing shattered, still retained the biological activity of an organism, constantly gathering and coalescing into a humanoid form with complete limbs and facial features.

With a bit more refinement in detail and a layer of skin-like material covering its body, this lifeform would be indistinguishable from a human.

But just then, a blinding white light flashed, scattering the humanoid lifeform once more, its flesh and blood splattering the interior of the sealed device.

Whether the scattered flesh had its own consciousness was unknown, but after experiencing another failure, it began to gather again, attempting to form a human shape. However, just as it was about to succeed, another white light flashed. It was like Sisyphus in Greek mythology, punished by the gods for his transgressions to push a boulder to the summit of a mountain, only for it to roll back to the foot each time before reaching the peak. Sisyphus could only repeat this eternally doomed task.

Before Wei Xiuming arrived, this lifeform had already repeated this process countless times. Nick Fury, like the gods on Mount Olympus, watched its failures with indifference.
