Arc 1The Farol Islands Campaign

Mousse helped Katakuri and the Charlotte siblings develop their abilities, then joined them in defending the Farol Islands from a Navy invasion. After Katakuri defeated Borsalino, the Charlotte Family considered taking the islands under its protection as the Navy raised Katakuri’s bounty to 1.5 billion Berries.

  • Mousse ate the Book-Book Fruit, demonstrated its ability to memorize and control books, and persuaded Charlotte Linlin to let him investigate her gigantification using her parents’ blood.

The BIG Pirates prepared for an expected Marine conflict, and the news reported that Charlotte Linlin’s bounty had risen to 4.5 billion Berries.

  • Beck demonstrated his transforming submarine to Vinsmoke Judge, who accepted its 2 billion Berries cost, while Mousse urged Katakuri to leave Pharaohs before the Marines attacked.
  • Katakuri returned to Totto Land with Mousse and six captured Marine warships, then told Charlotte Linlin that her mother had died after the attack on Pharaohs.
