First Arrival in the Primordial World

In the vast Chaos, accompanied by a deafening roar, a giant stepped out from a round, massive egg. He stood upon a Thirty-Six-Petaled Green Lotus, a White Jade Disc hovered above his head, and he gripped a Great Axe in his hand.

He was the Son of the Great Dao, the Heavenly King Pangu. With a thunderous shout, he projected a sound wave into the boundless Chaos: "Today, I, Pangu, am here to open the heavens and prove the Dao. May the Great Dao bear witness!"

At the same time, a giant eye devoid of any emotion appeared in the gray, misty Chaos. It stared at Pangu, and a hazy, primordial sound emerged: "Granted!"

Thus, Pangu began to swing his Great Axe. From that moment on, the axe had a name: the Sky-Opening Axe. Under the swings of the Sky-Opening Axe, the Chaos began to slowly separate; the clear Qi rose, and the turbid Qi sank. However, as Pangu opened the heavens, the Three Thousand Demon Gods, who had been nurtured by the Chaos alongside him, felt their own paths to the Dao being severed. Consequently, they rushed to the world Pangu had newly opened and began to wreak havoc. Seeing this, Pangu was enraged. He used the Chaos Green Lotus beneath his feet to stabilize the newborn earth and the Jade Disc of Creation above his head to protect the nascent firmament.

He swung his Great Axe, hacking at the approaching Chaos Demon Gods. None could rival him beneath the axe. The dying howls and curses of the Chaos Demon Gods echoed throughout the newborn world: "Pangu, we curse you to never attain the Dao for all eternity! Ah! Ah! Ah! Hah!"

"Since you cannot tolerate the world I have created, then become the nourishment for this new world!" Pangu said, slaughtering the Chaos Demon Gods while stabilizing the heavens and earth.

Finally, Pangu slew all the Demon Gods, though some had a sliver of their true spirits escape and reincarnate into the newly opened world. Pangu did not pay much heed to this. Just as he was about to swing his Great Axe again, the newborn world began to slowly close in on itself.

Seeing this, Pangu was anxious. He threw the Great Axe into the sky, where it split into three. The blade transformed into the Pangu Banner, which continued to hover at the edges of the world, constantly dispersing the explosive Chaos Qi. The face of the axe transformed into the Taiji Diagram, evolving into a giant bridge that spanned the heavens and earth, separating the Yin and Yang. The handle transformed into the Chaos Bell; as its tolling rang out, the restless space-time of the Chaos slowly became docile.

The Jade Disc of Creation and the Chaos Green Lotus also shattered under the pressure of the world-opening, falling into this newborn world and evolving into Innate Spiritual Treasures!

Pangu himself stood upon the earth, his hands supporting the firmament, constantly growing taller as the heavens and earth were stretched inch by inch. Just then, the Heavenly Dao of the newborn world, polluted by the dying resentment of the Chaos Demon Gods, gathered the power of the world to strike at Pangu.

Pangu was furious and uttered the first sound of World Creation: "Zha!" The sound annihilated the newborn Heavenly Dao. At the same time, due to the chaos in space-time caused by the destruction of the Heavenly Dao, a soul from a later age appeared in this newborn world. Pangu did not pay it much mind!

As the heavens and earth continued to separate, Pangu slowly exhausted his strength. Looking at the newborn world, he revealed a gratified smile: "I name you 'Primordial'. Let me add one final touch of creation to this world!"

Thus, Pangu's exhaled breath became clouds, his hair and pores transformed into the stars of the sky, his skin became the membrane of heaven and earth, his flesh became the land, and his blood vessels, meridians, and bones turned into mountains and rivers. His eyes became the Sun Star and the Lunar Star. Taking one last look at the world he had created, his spine transformed into Mount Buzhou, which supported the heavens.

Just then, auspicious light filled the newborn world, and purple radiance shot into the sky. Great Dao Merit, golden and mysterious, covered the heavens. From the remains of Pangu's body as he evolved the world, twelve drops of crimson Blood Essence and three incomplete fragments of his Nascent Soul flew out.

They each swept up thirty percent of the world-opening merit. Subsequently, the twelve drops of Blood Essence were taken away by the Pangu Heart, hiding at the foot of Mount Buzhou and vanishing from sight! Two portions of the world-opening merit fused with the Mysterious Yellow Qi and the Primordial Violet Qi, transforming into the Heaven and Earth Mysterious Yellow Exquisite Pagoda and the Primordial Sky-Measuring Ruler, respectively.

The Heaven and Earth Mysterious Yellow Exquisite Pagoda was swept away by the three Nascent Soul fragments and hid within the world, while the Primordial Sky-Measuring Ruler flew into the Primordial Heaven and Earth on its own and vanished! The remaining twenty percent of the merit scattered into the Primordial Heaven and Earth. Nourished by this Great Dao Merit, the Primordial world became increasingly stable!

As for that soul from a later age that had intruded, it was pulled into the Primordial Heaven and Earth by Pangu's navel as he transformed the world, and it disappeared without a trace...
