The Awakening of Styx

While the entire Primordial World was plunged into silence, in the northeast of the Primordial World, beneath a blood-red seabed, lay a space shrouded by a formation.

A Twelfth-Grade Red Lotus was burning with raging Red Lotus Karmic Fire. At the center of the flames, a blood-colored silhouette floated, with wisps of blood-colored threads drifting out from it from time to time. Surrounding the silhouette were three thousand Chaos-colored blood droplets of varying sizes, circling the figure like stars in the sky.

Those blood-colored threads slowly merged into the different blood droplets. Time in the Primordial World is not recorded, and it is unknown how long this process lasted.

Until one day, no more new blood threads appeared from the silhouette. The figure and the three thousand essence blood droplets began to slowly condense. Suddenly, the man opened his eyes. In the blood-colored space, it was as if a streak of lightning had flashed by, and this dead, silent space seemed to come alive at this very moment.

How much time has passed? the man whispered to himself. After a moment of distraction, he gradually regained his clarity. This figure was none other than Styx of the Sea of Blood.

As Styx regained consciousness, the raging Red Lotus Karmic Fire gradually extinguished until it completely returned to the lotus pedestal. Styx gently stroked the Karma Red Lotus. "You have truly worked hard all these years." The Karma Red Lotus jumped up and down, as if expressing its response to Styx.

Next, Styx sat cross-legged on the Karma Red Lotus, carefully contemplating his own condition. After waking up in the Primordial World back then and receiving his inherited memories, Styx had immediately begun refining himself for the sake of his own Dao path, without even having time to perceive the current state of the Primordial World. With this awakening, Styx had laid a solid foundation for himself, and it was time to properly experience this newborn world and the changes within himself.

Styx contemplated carefully. Has so much time already passed? When Styx first woke up, it was the beginning of the Second Calamity; now, it had reached the late stage of the Second Calamity. Indeed, there are no years in cultivation; in the blink of an eye, the seas have turned into mulberry fields.

Although the burning of the Red Lotus Karmic Fire and the stripping of the origins of the three thousand Chaos Demon Gods had left his existing origin extremely hollow, even with the nourishment of the Sea of Blood's origin blood qi, it was still a drop in the bucket. However, although his origin seemed hollow, his essence had been elevated infinitely. The current Styx could fully be called Pangu's Orthodox Lineage. Although this "orthodox" status was somewhat hollow, the bloodline could not be faked; Styx was indeed of the orthodox Pangu bloodline.
