Background / History

Blue Star life and transmigration

Li Pin remembers living on Blue Star, where his parents died young from illness. Driven by the fragility of life, he trained in martial arts until he reached Force Infusion, but damaged his body through overtraining and lacked a master or high-grade inheritance. His attempt to force an Embrace Dan breakthrough failed, scattering his consciousness. 1

He awakened in the body of another Li Pin: a healthy twenty-two-year-old Hanyang University student who had attempted suicide after public pressure over allegations involving An Wanyi. Accepting the body’s mother and sisters as his family, he resolved to live as Li Pin and pursue the possibilities the new body offered. 1

Much later, Li Pin discovers that his arrival was more complicated than a simple transmigration. He had eroded the original Li Pin’s remaining consciousness, entering the world as an existence born from Void. 792

Choosing the martial path

Li Pin resumed martial cultivation through the Innate Qi Nourishing Technique and the Mysterious Gate of Profound Yin, rapidly surpassing his peers. He rejected fame, social climbing, and convenient affiliations in favor of testing himself, solving problems, and breaking human limits. 5 23

When Legendary Star Artifacts allowed him to perceive and potentially visualize a Star God, he refused the immediate route to becoming a Star Refiner. He reaffirmed that his path would remain his own: the Path of the Martial God. 238

Reconstructing himself

Following his battle with Cangsheng Dao, Li Pin used an azure crystal to reconstruct his body. The new form resembled the Li Pin of his Blue Star life rather than the university student whose body he had first inhabited. He regarded this reconstruction as repayment of the debts attached to the original identity and chose to continue onward simply as “Li Pin.” 294

Appearance

After reconstructing his body, Li Pin appears as a man in his thirties with a distinctive aura and a physique visibly shaped by extreme cultivation. 294

  • Chiseled, heavily tempered musculature concealing extraordinary physical power. 294
  • His appearance differs from the university student’s body he originally inhabited. 294
  • Even after his appearance changed, Fang Lingjue recognized the same unmistakable “feeling” in him. 396

Personality

Li Pin is intensely self-directed. He values growth over status, refuses to bow for shortcuts, and treats adversity as something to identify, solve, and enjoy. 5 23 His confidence is frequently read by others as arrogance, particularly when he openly seeks stronger opponents and regards life-or-death combat as the fastest route to improvement. 440 732

His core restraint is his insistence on remaining himself. He rejected Star God assimilation, abandoned inherited identities and obligations after reconstructing his body, and later defined his Dao through unwavering self-recognition. 238 294 682

Despite his detachment from public approval, he invests in people he recognizes: teaching students at Xinghui Hall, guiding Li Yunyao, Lin Xiaolu, and Qin Rouran, and seeking a successor or companion capable of continuing beyond him. 121 219 396

Abilities & Skills

Insight

Li Pin’s defining talent is Insight, an exceptional power of perception, analysis, and self-optimization.

  • Perceives his own body from cellular to genetic levels and uses that understanding to refine techniques and alter his physique. 244 578
  • Identifies flaws in opponents’ attacks, including Si Xing’s “Void Tsunami,” allowing him to defeat stronger enemies through precise counters. 454
  • Perceived a Star God through Legendary Star Artifacts and could have become a Star Refiner without the usual trials. 238
  • Later develops Insight to the point of manipulating matter and energy on microscopic and macroscopic scales. 501
  • Treats Insight as a tool rather than his identity; he considers his self-forged Dao and persistence to be equally fundamental. 682

Path of the Martial God

Li Pin pioneered a martial system centered on evolving the body, spirit, and magnetic field rather than converting into a Star Refiner.

  • Life Force Field — Separates and condenses essence, energy, and spirit into an external field; its initial formation required a Legendary Star Artifact. 256
  • Star Magnetic Field — Uses his personal magnetic field to contend with, merge into, and draw acceleration from Gaia’s planetary magnetic field. 332 341
  • Star Martial God Codex — His primary cultivation method, created after collecting Martial Saint legacies. 316
  • Star God Body Tempering Fist — A body-tempering boxing technique that Li Pin continually optimizes through Insight. 316 347
  • Life Force Field limits — Leveraging a planetary magnetic field initially inflicted severe internal damage because his mortal body struggled to endure the load. 265

Martial Will and close-quarters combat

Li Pin is a close-combat specialist whose Fist Intent, Divine Strength, and refined physical control allow him to overwhelm higher-ranked opponents.

  • His Fist Intent surpassed Cheng Yufeng’s Sword Intent during the Number One Martial Arts Tournament Under Heaven. 187
  • Reached the human body’s physical limit and activated Divine Strength against the Great Sun Saint Son. 201
  • Defeated four Martial Saints—Fang Ziyou, Zhao Yunlong, Huang He, and Su Fang—with overwhelming force. 234
  • Considers battle, especially life-or-death battle, essential to self-surpassing and cultivation. 440

Mind Power, True Spirit, and Dao

Li Pin developed Mind Power from Martial Will and used it to stabilize his state, accelerate his thought processes, and explore the nature of existence.

  • Studied the Ring of Freezing and the Sitting and Forgetting Sutra to investigate Mind Power. 420
  • Improved Time Candle Dragon to accelerate neural reactions and physical operation together. 461
  • Used Dao Exhausts Reincarnation to confront and merge his past and present selves, advancing his True Self and Original Self. 742
  • Comprehended Mass, Spacetime, and Reincarnation as fundamental powers of the universe. 792
  • Condensed a True Spirit and reached Zhou Guang through this self-directed path. 754

Singularity Sword Intent

Li Pin’s primary high-level offensive sword art condenses power into singularity-like attacks.

  • Used it to kill a fleeing Star God after defeating two others. 729
  • Improved it through the Supreme Ladder, raising his controlled combat power through repeated challenges. 739
  • Reached its Limit Break level, gaining greater power at the cost of slower activation. 778
  • Combined it with Dao Exhausts Reincarnation to redirect dispersed sword energies and defeat Zi Zai Tian. 781

Regeneration and clones

Li Pin possesses extreme physical recovery and can create independent bodies.

  • Reconstructed his entire body using energy from an azure crystal after near-fatal damage. 294
  • Regrew an arm after severing it to purge uncontrolled Dark Magic. 402
  • Condensed a clone from a drop of blood; the clone can act independently without impairing his own control. 496
  • Can rapidly grow a newly formed body from blood, muscles, organs, and neural structure. 547

Spacetime and matter manipulation

At his higher realms, Li Pin applies Insight, Mind Power, and his martial system to space, energy, and matter.

  • Shatter Vacuum — A spatially destructive technique used against Invincible Heavenly Rank opponents. 453
  • Atomic Fission Technique — A technique he sought to enhance by detonating Mind Power. 437
  • Eternal Sword Light — A spacetime attack that reaches its target the instant it is released. 870
  • Can create collapsing singularities, close distances through space manipulation, and fight Zhou Guang Star Gods directly. 700

Equipment / Weapons / Items

  • Legendary Star Artifacts — A set of three artifacts whose combined effect expanded Li Pin’s perception and enabled his first contact with Star God visualization. 238
  • Heavenly Demonic Divine Armor — Defensive armor that helped him endure a nuclear-like attack from a Supreme Blood Demon Bishop. 412
  • Sword of Destiny — A Great Yue Imperial Family treasure carried by Li Pin after entering Taoyuan. 356
  • Ring of Freezing / Ring of Spirit — A ring studied by Li Pin for its connection to Mind Power. 420
  • World Heart — Used to resist mind-level Secret Arts and escape an encirclement by Eternal Sun Glory Main Combat Avatars. 641
  • Ruoxi Sword — A weapon whose Perception Enhancement trait Li Pin later sought to integrate into his own attribute panel. 526
  • Blazing Sun Divine Artifact — Used to defeat the Star God Incarnation Li Pin named White Mirror. 526
  • Dragon Origin Dojo Token — A gift from Di Yiliu granting ten years of access to Dao Origin Supreme Being’s preaching. 760
