"The Kanto Tournament semifinals between Rikkai Dai and Seigaku are tied at two matches apiece. Up next is Singles 1."

Seeing Seigaku and Rikkai Dai take the match all the way to the final game, the Fudomine team gathered by the court watched with great anticipation.

They had come over after the singles matches between the two teams began, and had caught the most exciting part of the latter half of the doubles match.

"Muneyoshi, Singles 1 for Seigaku and Rikkai Dai has to be Tezuka versus Yukimura. Who do you think has the better chance of winning?"

Looking at the lineup for both sides, Tachibana Kippei had quickly figured out who would be playing Singles 1, so he asked curiously.

He wasn't the only one, either. Everyone around the court was eagerly awaiting the match to come.

Even Hyotei Academy, who had lost, had come to watch, led by Atobe.

One was the captain of Seigaku's Tennis Club, and the other was the captain of Rikkai Dai's Tennis Club.

Both were opponents he had to be wary of. Their matchup was worth coming to watch with his team.

"Their abilities are very close. If you're asking me to say who's stronger, I honestly don't know."

Muneyoshi shook his head. Though he had played against both of them, he couldn't say which was stronger.

They followed entirely different paths, and neither path had any advantage over the other.

So the only way to know for sure was to see them play.

Hearing Muneyoshi say that made the Fudomine team even more eager for the match.
