"I'm serving again, Shinji!"

After moving to the left side of the service line, Fuji smiled faintly and tossed the ball into the air with a lift of his arm.

Bam!

Fuji gave Shinji no time to think about his mistakes. His serve had already bounced right in front of him.

Bam!

Shinji decisively struck the ball with a forehand.

Skritch!

Fuji darted forward, his shoes scraping against the ground and sending up a tiny spark.

Bam!

Fuji's racket once again intercepted Shinji's crosscourt shot cleanly. A streak of pale light hurtled toward Shinji.

Tap tap tap!

The black-and-red figure raced across the court. Shinji abruptly stopped, then leaped into the air, raising his racket high above his head.

"Tiger-Leopard Style Smash!"

Shinji's gaze sharpened. Gathering all his strength, he brought his racket down hard on the incoming ball.

The powerful force drove through the ball, and the mustard-yellow blur slammed down in Fuji's forecourt.

Skreeee!

The ball left a mark as its complex spin was suppressed, then sprang sharply upward. A faint black-and-red Beast Aura enveloped it.

"That little bit of Beast Aura won't do you any good, Shinji!"

Fuji's voice drifted over as his blue-and-white figure cut off the bouncing ball with a decisive stroke.

Bam!

A streak of golden light flashed past Shinji's cheek. Then the sound of the ball striking the ground rang out from his backcourt.

"Game, Seigaku's Fuji Shusuke. 5–3."

"Shinji's Beast Aura was broken through just like that, without having any effect?!"

Kamio Akira stared in disbelief. Shinji had only just learned that move recently.

"Kamio, Beast Aura isn't invincible, and Seigaku's Akutsu can use Aura too!"
