The Saiyan Gebinz

"What... is going on?"

Zhu Mang slammed a hand against his head, feeling as if his vision were fracturing into layers of overlapping images.

Within these phantoms, he saw marines and pirates locked in desperate combat, a terrifying Great Ape roaring at the heavens above a strange race cowering at its feet, and several Saiyans with tails swaying behind them, laughing as they soared across a planet, wantonly unleashing energy cannons...

These overlapping visions even seemed to carry sound.

"Demon!"

"Devil!"

"Monster!"

"Horrible ape-man!"

"Butcher!"

The curses rang out from different planets and different races, all translated into his ears by the scouters of the Frieza Force.

Because the Frieza Force spent years engaged in "real estate development" across the universe, they inevitably encountered indigenous peoples who did not speak the common tongue. To ensure they surrendered their planets obediently, the scouters were equipped with translation devices containing the languages of numerous cosmic races.

Thus, the scenes suddenly appearing before him were, in reality, the memories of the original owner of this body: a Saiyan named Gebinz.

He had been born with a combat power of only about 50, marking him as a low-class warrior.

Consequently, while still very young, he had followed the standard Saiyan practice and was sent away in a spherical spaceship to a remote planet of little value.

Later, on a night of the full moon on that planet, he had transformed into a Great Ape and annihilated everything upon it.

Once the full moon passed, he located the spherical ship he had arrived in and returned to Planet Vegeta.

As for how he knew these things despite being sent away at such a young age, it was naturally due to the Saiyan early childhood education.

While Saiyans were still in their infant pods, they were infused with a series of combat techniques, crude methods of utilizing ki, the history of the Saiyans, and their behavioral codes, all delivered alongside the nutrient solution.

It was much like school on Earth.

Except that for the Saiyans, it was simpler and more brutal—it was pumped directly into the brain.

This resulted in the phenomenon where almost all native Saiyans were incredibly violent.

After all, they had been taught wrong from the very beginning.

It was only some adult Saiyans who would gradually rediscover their true personalities.

Bardock, for instance.

Thereafter, Gebinz passed his "adulthood assessment" early with excellent results, becoming an active member of the Frieza Force and participating in numerous "cosmic real estate" development projects.

Until the most recent mission, when they traveled to a planet with high-level combatants reaching seven or eight thousand, they were met with fierce resistance from the indigenous population.

During the battle, many Saiyans died on the spot, and Gebinz was critically wounded. After being brought back by the Frieza Force, the real Gebinz died in the medical tank, and Zhu Mang's soul transmigrated into his body.

Clearly, the soul of the original Gebinz had already descended to the Underworld by then—after all, the Underworld truly existed in the Dragon Ball universe.

This also meant that he had only obtained a portion of Gebinz's memories from his brain; scientifically speaking, human memories reside in the brain, but Dragon Ball did not entirely adhere to science, so it was only a fragment.

Because the memories were incomplete, Zhu Mang had been extremely cautious for the first day or two after his transmigration.

Later, realizing that disaster might be imminent, he began to work hard and latch onto a wealthy patron.

The previous relationship between Zhu Mang and Gebinz was much like that between Son Goku and Kakarot.

When Kakarot first arrived on Earth, he had just received the Saiyan "true force-feeding education," making him incredibly violent.

It was not until he fell from a cliff one day and struck his head, sealing away those Saiyan memories, that he became a true infant.

Thereafter, under the influence of elders like Son Gohan and Master Roshi, and peers like Bulma, Krillin, and Tien Shinhan, he gradually became the respected Dragon Ball warrior (only before Super, mind you; after Super, pfft).

However, some fan works featured certain settings.

What If...? Son Goku awakened his Saiyan memories during a later battle...

In Multiverse Tournament, such an event occurred in a parallel universe, leading Son Goku to become Kakarot and slaughter the entire Earth.

At this moment, as the Saiyan memories within Zhu Mang surged, his aura grew increasingly savage.

His bloodshot, crimson eyes stared fixedly at the chaotic battlefield before him; his nostrils were filled with the metallic scent of blood, and his ears were drowned in the sounds of slaughter.

This threw his mind into further disarray, his thoughts becoming increasingly clouded.

Boom!

The next moment, Zhu Mang's body exploded forward, the massive, uncontrolled impact shattering the ground where he had just been standing.

He appeared right in the midst of the clash between several marines and pirates.

The pirates were major figures in the New World with bounties as high as two or three hundred million, all of them at the level of captains or first mates.

The marines were Vice Admirals, already considered mid-to-high-tier combatants.

The several pirates and Vice Admirals were all startled by the sudden appearance of Zhu Mang.

After landing, Zhu Mang remained standing in place, trembling.

The memories of Saiyans slaughtering planets kept surging forth, giving him a sense of disorientation, as if he were currently standing on an alien world.

Yet, a faint voice told him not to do it.

Just then.

"What the hell, you're asking for death!" A pirate carelessly slashed his blade toward him.

Because Zhu Mang had suddenly rushed out from the direction of the marines, he naturally assumed he was a marine.

However, the next moment...

Bang!

His head exploded directly like a watermelon.

"Damn it!" Seeing this, his companions cursed angrily and rushed forward.

With a few more "bangs," their bodies were struck by punches and kicks, instantly reduced to a mist of blood and scattered chunks of flesh flying everywhere.

The few Vice Admirals nearby were just preparing to offer their thanks, but they only saw an arm appear before their eyes.

Just then, several pirates brandishing weapons charged at him once more.

They were the comrades of the pirates he had just killed.

The dual-wielding swordsman, "Knight of the Sea" Doma, swung his blades, which were coated in Armament Haki, slashing fiercely toward Zhu Mang's neck.

Yet Zhu Mang remained frozen in place, deaf to it all!
