Shiyu thought for a moment. "Swordsmanship is my weak point, so why did I use it?"

"That's only part of it. Your combat ability is indeed impressive. However, because you're so young, your body hasn't fully developed yet. In other words, you haven't reached your peak."

"Whether it's swordsmanship or Taijutsu, everyone has their weaknesses. You have plenty of talent, and it's clear you work hard, too. You just need more time, so don't rush. You'll be fine." Hiruzen nodded at Shiyu as he spoke.

"That's all for shuriken techniques today. As for swordsmanship, there's someone I'd recommend." The Third Hokage said.

"He's the younger brother of the Konoha White Fang: the Konoha Gray Blade, Hatake Sanyu. He's also Kakashi Nao's father." The Third Hokage said.

"The Hatake Clan is the strongest when it comes to swordsmanship. The most famous example is Kakashi Hatake's father, the Konoha White Fang, Hatake Sakumo. But Sakumo rarely teaches anyone. The other one isn't as well-known, but the Konoha Gray Blade is every bit as strong as the White Fang!"

"You can learn swordsmanship from him, though I hear his requirements for taking on students are rather unreasonable. Still, I think you should give it a try. You'll have to find him to learn the details." The Third Hokage offered his advice.

"Mm, I'll go find him." Shiyu nodded and made a mental note of it. After all, improving his own strength was what mattered most.

Hiruzen Sarutobi then left the training ground, while Shiyu reviewed the two techniques he had just copied with his White Rinnegan.

"Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu, and Shuriken Giantization Technique."

Shiyu murmured to himself, then began practicing furiously. Before long, he had mastered both techniques, and he came up with a clever idea while practicing the Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu.

"First, I can keep repeating the Shadow Clone Technique. Then, when I dispel the clones, all their experience will return to me."

This technique had originally been Naruto's cheat, and Shiyu, who had Otsutsuki blood, could use it too. However, perhaps because his body was still so young, he could only create five Shadow Clones at most.

"If I write the Flying Thunder God Formula on specially made Kunai, then use the Shadow Clone Technique, and have my clones use the Kunai Shadow Clone?! Then..."

"Hmm?" Shiyu opened the door, and the man immediately said respectfully, "Hello. Are you Uchiha Shigure?"

The man was calling Shiyu, who had just turned five, "sir." Shiyu couldn't help finding it amusing.

"I am. And you are?" Shiyu was polite in return, since the other man had treated him courteously.

"I'm just a servant of the Hyuga Clan. You needn't address me so formally. I've come at Lord Hizashi's request to invite Mr. Shiyu to the Hyuga Clan estate."

"Oh? Teacher Hizashi invited me himself? That's unusual." Shiyu wasn't suspicious; Hizashi had mentioned before that he would invite him.

"Then let's not waste any time. We should go right away. The teacher may have something important to discuss." Shiyu immediately followed the middle-aged servant toward the Hyuga estate.

The servant didn't walk quickly, but he knew the way well. He soon brought Shiyu to the gates of the Hyuga estate. But then Shiyu noticed that the Hyuga Clan had a very obvious problem with bloodline discrimination.

"I never thought the Hyuga Clan would go to such absurd lengths to preserve their bloodline." Shiyu saw that the grand mansion bore a sign reading "Main Family," while the comparatively modest house had a sign reading "Branch Family."

He had only seen it in the original story before, but seeing the Main Family and Branch Family with his own eyes still struck him as absurd.
