After killing Han Feng and securing the Heavenly Demon Phoenix’s Bone Wings for Qing Lin, Shen Wen reached Peace Town and was invited to Jia Nan Academy’s Inner Academy.

• Shen Wen found the Nether Poisonous Flame in the marsh and guided Xiao Yi Xian through refining it, helping her stabilize her toxins and advance to Three-Star Dou Wang.
• Shen Wen mastered Chaos Dou Qi, broke through to Two-star Dou Ancestor, and led his companions through the Black Storm to Black Emperor City.
• Shen Wen traded pills and arranged with Mo Tian Xing to refine a Pill to Break Dou Zong in exchange for a Heavenly Demon Phoenix corpse and rare ingredients.
• Shen Wen refined the corpse, formed the True Phoenix Wings, and later made two Pills to Break Dou Zong for Mo Tian Xing.

Shen Wen joined Jia Nan Academy, helped its students and revealed the danger of the Fallen Heart Flame beneath the Qi Refining Tower. After refining the flame and finding its juvenile form, he faced the Flame Lizard Clan’s guardians and returned badly wounded.

• Shen Wen reunited with Xiao Xun'er, joined Jia Nan Academy, and impressed the Alchemist Department with his pill refining and public lecture.
• Shen Wen told Su Qian that Zi Yan was an Ancient Void Dragon and warned that the Fallen Heart Flame beneath the tower would eventually break free.
• Shen Wen refined an Eighth-Grade Dragon Phoenix Blood Fusion Pill and absorbed its eight-colored pill lightning before inspecting the unstable seal below the tower.
• Shen Wen and Cao Ying helped Xiao Yi Xian form a Poison Pill, then Shen Wen subdued the mature Fallen Heart Flame and proposed replacing it with its juvenile form.

Shen Wen refined breakthrough pills, developed a soul technique for Dan Chen, and strengthened his allies while investigating Soul Hall. After defeating Yang Hao, he rejected the Ancient Clan’s proposed alliance and prepared to grow stronger before confronting the Tianxin Empire Branch Hall.

• Cai Lin rescued the injured Shen Wen from beneath the tower, and he recovered at home while warning that the secrets below were too dangerous to explain.
• Shen Wen revealed that a Half-Saint had attacked him beneath Jia Nan Academy, then agreed to attend the Black Seal City auction with his companions.
• At the auction, Shen Wen’s group won a fragment of the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame map, and Shen Wen later rescued Qing Mei from Fan Lao and showed Xiao Yan Han Feng’s Sea Heart Flame.
• Shen Wen refined pills for the Sky Snake Mansion and created the Bone-Regenerating and Blood-Melting Pill, then investigated Soul Hall outposts and began developing the Zong Ji Pill.
• Shen Wen refined Zong Ji Pills that advanced Xiong Tao and Su Qian, then created the Sky Soaring Method to help Dan Chen control her soul-sucking force.

Shen Wen wiped out Soul Hall strongholds in the Northwest, then brought Cai Lin and their companions toward the Central Continent despite a Soul Hall trap at Tianya City. With Xuan Danzi’s help, the group crossed safely, and Shen Wen returned to the Pill Pagoda as conflict with Soul Hall neared open war.

• Shen Wen advanced to Four-star Dou Ancestor, developed the Prison Heaven Hand, and arranged pill trades through Mo Tian Xing to gather resources.
• At the Black Emperor Sect auction, Elder Fang Yan won a Zong Ji Pill, while Shen Wen identified Soul Hall bidders and later rescued Old Ghost Di Mo from their attack.
• Shen Wen killed Qing Hai, Xue Nu, and other Soul Hall forces at Heaven Burial Ravine, then spent over a month clearing the organization’s known Northwest outposts.
• Shen Wen left the Northwest with Cai Lin, Cao Ying, Little Doctor Immortal, Dan Chen, Qing Lin, Zi Yan, Xiong Tao, and a Snake People Clan escort after arranging support for those who stayed behind.

• During the journey, Xuan Danzi taught Shen Wen advanced alchemy, then Shen Wen returned to the Pill Pagoda and explained his discoveries and techniques to Old Monster Lin.
• Old Monster Lin warned Shen Wen to keep Zi Yan’s royal Ancient Void Dragon bloodline secret and revealed that the Pill Pagoda’s conflict with Soul Hall was nearing open war.
