After the Soul Clan attacked, Mo Wen saved Xuan by drawing the corruption from her soul, leaving them both aware of the bond their soul union had created.

• Zi Yan learned that Mo Wen had gathered twelve powerful Taixu Ancient Dragons to support her claim, then began preparing to build her strength through Black Dragon Island.
• Mo Wen studied under the Divine Silent Old Man, refined a Soul-Tempering Pill, and cured Fire Tea Ancestor of the poison invading his soul.
• Mo Wen and Cai Lin freed Ru Mo from the Netherworld Source, defeated Yao Shitian and the Grand Elder, and helped Ru Mo reclaim control of the tribe.
• Mo Wen absorbed the Ghostly Source Ghost’s remnant soul and ordered Ru Mo to prepare the tribe before returning to the Dan Family.
• Cai Lin returned as a Nine-Colored Heaven-Swallowing Python, Xuan Gui’s pregnancy was celebrated, and Shen Wen married Tang Huo’er.
• The Soul Clan ambushed Mo Wen and the Divine Silent Old Man, and Mo Wen fought their Demon Gods while rescuing Xuan from a captor.

Shen Wen avenged the Soul Clan’s ambush, helped the Pill Pagoda strike the Soul Hall, and won the Alchemy Conference with a Ninth-grade Treasure Pill. After trading with Xiao Yan for the Tou She Ancient God Jade, he reached Zhu Kun and freed the Dragon Emperor, but the formation retaliated.

• Xuan Kongzi exposed Dan Lei as a Soul Clan agent, while Shen Wen declared his intent to attack the Soul Hall and rescue captured alchemists.
• Shen Wen killed Soul Demon Old Man and other Soul Clan Dou Sheng, then used the Soul Fusion Technique to free Xuan Yi from the black vapor binding her soul.
• The Pill Pagoda declared war on the Soul Hall, and Shen Wen destroyed its Earth Fiend Halls while bounty hunters attacked the Soul Hall’s wider network.
• Shen Wen entered the Alchemy Conference and defeated the other contestants by refining a Ninth-grade Treasure Pill, then subdued the Three Thousand Burning Flame.
• Xiao Yan traded the Tou She Ancient God Jade to Shen Wen for two Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame map fragments.
• Shen Wen found the passage to Tou She Ancient God’s Cave Mansion and contacted Zhu Kun, who emerged from his prison after learning that Zi Yan had become a Dragon Phoenix.

Shen Wen reunited Zhu Kun with Zi Yan, expanded his power and influence, and uncovered the Soul Clan’s campaign against the Imperial Clans. After refining the Emperor Pill Prototype, he reached Dou Di, killed Hun Tiandi, broke the continent’s seal, and ordered a final assault on the Soul Realm.

• Shen Wen and Zhu Kun closed the spatial rift, returned to Ancient Dragon Island, and reunited Zhu Kun with Zi Yan, who later became Dragon Emperor and married Shen Wen.
• Shen Wen took control of the Space Core, explored the Beast Domain ruins, absorbed the Dragon Phoenix Origin Fruit and Heavenly Phoenix Ancestral Soul, and helped Qing Lin subdue the Ancient Nine-Headed Heavenly Snake.
• Shen Wen became Pill Pagoda Tower Master, exposed the Soul Clan’s attacks on the Imperial Clans, advanced his soul to the Emperor Realm, and helped Xuan Danzi become a Ninth-grade Golden Pill.
• Shen Wen uprooted the injured Bodhi Ancient Tree and helped it recover, while the Soul Clan destroyed the Shi Clan and gathered more pieces of the Tou She Ancient God Jade.
• At the descent of the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame, Shen Wen restrained Nihility Devouring Flame during Gu Yuan’s battle, and Hun Tiandi seized Nihility Devouring Flame’s Fire Core before Shen Wen gave the flame to Xiao Yan.
• Shen Wen and Zhu Kun entered the Ancient Emperor’s Cave Mansion and defeated the Emperor Pill Prototype, which Shen Wen refined while Hun Tiandi renewed his attacks on the Imperial Clans.
