Background

In her previous life, Su Ling helped Qian Renxue ascend the Heaven Dou throne, then exposed her true identity at a critical moment, causing her downfall. After he later became emperor, she became a god, insisted on marrying him, and hoped to protect him. Instead, Su Ling treated her as an enemy, confined her to the Cold Palace, and planned to make Ye Lingling his empress. In despair, Qian Renxue killed Ye Lingling, later imprisoned Su Ling in a Spirit Hall dungeon, and ultimately lost him after the Su Family intervened 9.

Su Ling eventually died with the Asura Sword through his chest. Qian Renxue remained unmarried for the rest of that life, then returned to the past carrying the memories and attachment of two lifetimes 28. Her first documented action after reincarnation is waiting through the night for Su Ling at Tianxiang Tower; he never arrives 9.

Qian Renxue’s true form is described as a striking young woman with long golden hair, snow-white skin, and refined, almost sacred features. Her usual dignity can give way to a visibly lonely or unstable expression when Su Ling rejects her 9 120.

Personality

Qian Renxue initially presents herself as dignified, reserved, and politically composed. Beneath that exterior, she is profoundly lonely and burdened by regret over her past-life choices, especially her treatment of Su Ling 9.

Her devotion to Su Ling becomes possessive and pathological after reincarnation. She interprets his attachment to Gu Yuena and other women as betrayal, repeatedly attempts to isolate him, and is willing to threaten, imprison, or attack others to keep him beside her 52 55 116. Her emotional state is volatile: rejection can drive her toward violence or despair, while even small signs of affection can immediately calm her 273 275 286.

Despite this instability, Qian Renxue is also calculating. She maintains the Xue Qinghe identity, navigates Heaven Dou politics, and persuades Emperor Xue Ye to abdicate by promising that she can secure Su Ling and prevent the Su Family from rebelling 83 283.

Qian Renxue returns to the past with memories of her previous life and waits for Su Ling at Tianxiang Tower, only for him to abandon the meeting. When she later sees him at the auction, her God King-level Mental Power lets her immediately identify him despite his disguise 9 28.

Auction House Reunion

While posing as Xue Qinghe, Qian Renxue tries to approach Su Ling and help him remove the Destruction God Armor. She offers him money, protection, and herself in exchange for submission, but Su Ling mistakes her interest for something else and reacts with fear 31.

Her jealousy erupts after she discovers Su Ling’s concern for Gu Yuena. She identifies Gu Yuena as the person for whom Su Ling is willing to risk his life and begins treating her as a threat 32 36.

Conflict with Gu Yuena

Qian Renxue attacks Gu Yuena after Gu Yuena claims to be Su Ling’s lawful wife. Di Tian intervenes before Qian Renxue can finish the attack, forcing her to retreat despite her continuing intent to eliminate Gu Yuena 52.

She later manipulates Gu Yuena’s guilt and injuries, leaving her a knife and suggesting that her death would free both herself and Su Ling from their problems 55.

Lake of Life Abduction and Secret Chamber

After burning her divine soul to defeat or bypass Di Tian, Qian Renxue enters the Lake of Life and snatches the unconscious Su Ling away from Gu Yue 111 112. She defeats the weakened Gu Yuena during the pursuit and takes Su Ling to an underground secret chamber beneath the Crown Prince’s Palace 113 114.

There, Qian Renxue restrains Su Ling with Soul Power-sealed chains, attempts to force emotional dependence, uses Gu Yuena’s safety to control him, and insists that captivity is love 115 116 117. Qian Daoliu eventually discovers the chamber and compels her to release Su Ling 118.

Failed Repentance and Political Marriage Proposal

After Su Ling’s release, Qian Renxue publicly apologizes and offers to marry him as compensation, presenting herself as humble and remorseful before the Su Family. Her status as Qian Daoliu’s granddaughter and the Angel God’s inheritor causes some family members to consider a political marriage despite Ye Wanqing’s objections 120 121.

Her remorse does not end her possessiveness. She offers to seek Gu Yuena’s release only if Su Ling agrees to marry her, which he rejects with disgust 123. Her attempts to reconcile continue to fail as Su Ling and Ye Wanqing recognize that her obsession has not disappeared 122 125.

Protection and Escalating Jealousy

Qian Renxue defies Bibi Dong’s order to return to Martial Soul City with Su Ling’s head, choosing instead to protect him and the Su Family 83. She also prevents Su Ling from recklessly confronting the newly ascended Rakshasa God, though he resents her intervention 155 159.
