Background
The Su Family's standing rests on both cultivation and military power. Its patriarch, Su Qingtian, is King Zhenyuan and a Level 97 Titled Douluo; the family commands the Heavenly Blaze Army. Su Ling's father, Su Zhantian, is also a Titled Douluo and later identified as the head of the family 1 69 129.
Su Ling's mutated Martial Soul and congenital Level 3 Soul Power led the family to treat him as an outcast in childhood. His mother, Ye Wanqing, remained fiercely protective of him 1 18 23.
Members and Forces
- Su Qingtian — Su Ling's grandfather, King Zhenyuan and a Level 97 Titled Douluo. He is described as the family's pillar of strength 1 119.
- Su Zhantian — Su Ling's father, the family's head and a Titled Douluo known as Tian Jin Douluo 129 262.
- Ye Wanqing — Su Ling's mother, from the Ye Family of the Nine Star Begonia Spirit. She manages affairs at the manor and is a healing Soul Sage 1 24 90.

History
Conflicts at the manor
Shrek Academy forces its way into the understaffed Su Family estate seeking treatment for Ma Hongjun. Su Ling's confrontation with the group ends with Old Mo and the Dark Guards subduing them. Su Ling then invokes his family's military service—and the possibility of its troops marching on Heaven Dou City—to pressure the visitors 11 12.
When Shrek Academy returns with leaders of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect to retrieve Xiao Wu, news of Su Ling's grave injury turns the visit into a standoff. Ye Wanqing threatens the sect if her son dies; afterward, she places Su Ling under close guard while the Dark Guards search Heaven Dou City 23 24 26.
Pressure over Gu Yuena
The family's protection of Gu Yuena draws demands from Spirit Hall to surrender her. At the same time, Old Mo is gravely wounded while transporting a Soul Enlightenment Pill bought for Su Ling. With the family's powerhouses not yet fully returned, Ye Wanqing sends Su Ling away with Shrek Academy rather than leave him at the center of the conflict 69 80 87.
Tang Hao subsequently attacks the Su mansion over Ye Wanqing's treatment of Tang San. Su Ling retaliates against Tang Hao; after Tang Hao's cultivation is sealed, the Dark Guards take him to the mansion under strict watch 90 100.
Su Ling's inheritance and the engagement
News that Su Ling has inherited the Destruction God King's position brings renewed attention to the family. Su Zhantian celebrates its prospect of a God King successor, while Ye Wanqing worries that the publicity places Su Ling in danger 121 124 127.
The family arranges an engagement with Ning Rongrong of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect. Su Ling's absence on the banquet day threatens both families' reputations, but he later returns for the ceremony. The Su Family offers a Hundred Thousand Year Soul Bone and five Ten Thousand Year Soul Bones as betrothal gifts; Ning Fengzhi accepts them, to Ye Wanqing's dismay 147 151 164 165.
Later, Tang San and Tang Chen confront the family at its manor over Tang Hao's imprisonment and Ah Yin. Tang San threatens to wipe out the family, and Tang Chen's domain suppresses those in the hall 258.
Relationships
- Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect — initially confronts the family over Xiao Wu and Su Ling's injury; later enters a proposed marriage alliance through Ning Rongrong and Su Ling 23 24 145 165.
