Son Gohan and Great Ape Vegeta fought fiercely, every punch landing solidly.

The Kamehameha shot into the sky, broke through Earth's atmosphere, and disappeared into space.
"Where do you think you're going? Take this!"
Seeing Vegeta successfully dodge the Kamehameha, Son Gohan used the Prince's fighting style.
He repeatedly gathered Energy Waves in his hands and fired them all at Great Ape Vegeta like a machine gun, making his opponent howl in pain.

More and more smoke began billowing from Great Ape Vegeta's body, until he vanished from sight.
Son Gohan stopped attacking and decided to try Krillin's Destructo Disc too!
He raised his right palm toward the sky, and a thin blade of energy appeared in an instant.
"What? The Destructo Disc?"
Krillin watched Son Gohan in delighted amazement. His talent was simply monstrous—he'd seen the move only twice, yet already knew how to use Krillin's signature technique.
It had taken Krillin three years to create the Destructo Disc!
As the smoke cleared, Great Ape Vegeta lay on the ground in a sorry state, panting heavily.
"I never imagined that Son Gohan had such terrifying power hidden inside him. Even a Saiyan transformed into a Great Ape couldn't beat him!"
Seeing Vegeta, who had lost his ability to fight, King Kai spoke with a shocked expression.
This kid seemed to be only five years old, yet his power had already reached such a terrifying level. If he kept training, just how strong would he be when he grew up?
He really couldn't wait to see how far this kid would go.
"Gohan, show him mercy. It'd be a shame for such a good opponent to die on Earth."
Just as Son Gohan was about to throw the Destructo Disc, Son Goku's loud shout rang out from nearby.
"Goku, have you gone crazy? You're actually telling Gohan to show him mercy? How many people have the Saiyans killed on Earth? Yamcha and Tien Shinhan, among others!"
Krillin yelled angrily at Son Goku.

Son Gohan nodded at the two of them.
He threw the Destructo Disc at the Great Ape's tail, cutting it off in an instant.
Vegeta began turning back into his normal form. He no longer had the strength to remain standing.
"Damn it... I'm the strongest Saiyan warrior, yet I... actually lost on Earth."
Vegeta spat out a mouthful of blood and spoke weakly.
He didn't even have the strength to stand now.
He struggled to roll over and laboriously pulled a Remote Control from his chest, pressing it a few times.
Then he lay flat on his back, panting heavily.
The spaceship in the distance received the signal and immediately started up, flying toward them.
"Vegeta, I hope we can fight together again someday."
After using the overburdening 4x Kaio-ken, Son Goku's whole body hurt, as if it were about to split apart.
He'd gritted his teeth and endured it during the fight, but now that he'd relaxed, exhaustion and pain washed over him, leaving him a little unsteady.
"Goku, are you all right?"
Seeing this, Krillin immediately supported Son Goku.

The Battle Power attributes flowed into his body like a little stream.

"There's something called Dragon Balls on Planet Namek. They can grant a person's wish."
The electric door opened, and a dog-headed alien walked in.
He respectfully reported to Frieza, who sat on his throne, swirling the red wine in his hand.
"Oh-ho-ho-ho, Vegeta. I never thought you'd bring me such good news."
"Get the troops ready. We leave for Planet Namek in three days."
A glint appeared in Frieza's eyes. He had always wanted eternal life so he could rule the universe.
Whether or not the message was true, he was going to Planet Namek to find out.
