"Give me the location. Take us there," Voldemort said coldly.

"Give me my wand, and I'll Appar—"

A spell made Lockhart, who had just sat up, collapse to the ground again, writhing.

"It looks like he doesn't know anything," Barty Crouch Jr. asked, wearing a strange expression.

"That only means the organization is well-run. They're using a Forgetting Charm to erase all traces."

Voldemort spoke as he worked his magic. "But what I don't understand is, after their memories are erased, do they have to explain everything all over again every time they meet?"

"Maybe they store those key memories in a Pensieve," Barty Crouch Jr. speculated.

Voldemort nodded, accepting the explanation, and stopped the spell again.

"London... 21 Brook Street... Apartment 502."

As soon as the magic stopped, Lockhart managed to give them the address, haltingly.

Voldemort murmured the name and looked at Barty Crouch Jr. He didn't recognize the place at all.

"I've been there, Dark Lord. Let me lead the way," Barty Crouch Jr. said at once.

Voldemort nodded. First, he had Barty Crouch Jr. haul Lockhart to his feet, then he took hold of the man's arm himself.

"Whoosh."

The three of them vanished from the forest and reappeared on a busy street.

"Living in the middle of a Muggle city center is unusual."

Voldemort glanced around, making sure no one had noticed them before speaking.

"It's a bustling area, so it looks like it would be easy to get spotted, but it isn't," Lockhart explained weakly. "Besides, I usually Apparate in and out of the apartment, so no one notices."

Voldemort nodded, signaling for him to lead
