Background

Tsunade is the granddaughter of Hashirama Senju and Uzumaki Mito. Tobirama Senju also treated her as a granddaughter, giving her unusual political legitimacy within Konoha; she is additionally related to the Land of Fire’s Daimyō and received the title of Konoha Princess from him. 168
