After the Roger Pirates made a successful escape, the skies cleared, the rain stopped, and the sun decided it was back in business and came out to enjoy itself.

Roger suddenly burst out laughing. His laughter was infectious, and soon the rest of the crew were laughing along with him.
Their escape this time had been entirely due to luck. If they'd been less fortunate, they wouldn't have encountered such a massive tsunami. If they'd been less fortunate, they might have been wiped out in the tsunami just then.
The Roger Pirates had lost their usual liveliness for the moment. They sat or lay where they were, slowly recovering their strength.
Day turned to night, and a full day passed. The Roger Pirates had returned to their usual state, as if nothing had happened the day before.
They were nearing the waters where Fish-Man Island was located, and the weather was no longer so terrible. That tsunami the day before had saved them a considerable amount of distance and time.
More and more seabirds appeared in the sky, and there were many different kinds. When the weather was clear, they circled above the pirate ship and sometimes stopped to rest on its deck.
