Refusing the Job

Solgaleo still felt somewhat unfamiliar and out of sync with the sudden drastic changes in his body. Immense power surged within him, and he needed time to adapt to and control it.

But when he lowered his head and saw his majestic, powerful lion body, feeling the warmth of sunlight flowing through his mane, the heartfelt joy immediately washed away all discomfort.

He turned toward Yan Yang, tilting his enormous head slightly. Familiar, affectionate light flickered in the eyes set within his starry face as his thoughts were conveyed directly and frankly:

"Yang! Look! I'm in your favorite beast form now! Big and majestic! It's my turn now, right? I never had the chance before, and I didn't have the ability either... But from today on, all of today belongs to me! I'll be more proactive from now on too!"

He added confidently, with a touch of smug cunning, "I'm sure you want to spend more time with me like this too! Absolutely! This is exactly what you like!"

It was as if he had seen through Yan Yang's preference for large, imposing, fluffy Pokémon—at least, Pokémon with fluffy manes.

After their initial shock, the Solgaleo and Lunala in the sky gradually accepted this reality that exceeded their understanding.

It seemed this child was extraordinarily gifted, capable of simultaneously containing and controlling the sources of both ultimate sun and moon forms.

Necrozma, the Radiant God's final gift, must have played a crucial role in making that possible.

But what had been the Prism God's true purpose? Having dispersed most of Its light and power, It should have fallen into a long slumber. Yet at this moment, the two guardian deities could no longer sense any trace of It.

It really has given us quite a bit more "work"... the original
