She waved the Elder Wand and cast [Summon Storm Clouds], turning the cloudless sky, where the sun had blazed down from on high, into a dark, rainy one!
Krauser's Sun God Mirror immediately became useless!
Without the sun, what was the point of shining it at anything?
But Kirk knew something was wrong and shouted, "Hermione, get out of the way!"
Although he'd activated Charge and raced over at full speed, he was still a step too late.
With his terrain advantage gone, the furious Krauser raised his submachine gun and unleashed a dense hail of bullets at Hermione in the sky!
Hermione had the typical mage build: high attack, low defense. She hadn't strengthened herself with an outfit like Ada's, either. The Invisibility Cloak could have protected her, but she'd given it to Ashley. Faced with Krauser's incredibly accurate shooting, she cried out as her delicate body fell from the sky!
"No! You bastard!" Kirk charged desperately toward the spot where Hermione was falling.
Just as Hermione was about to meet her end, a graceful shadow swept past, caught her in her arms, and whisked her to the top of another pillar!
But the shadow wasn't wearing a cheongsam. Instead, she wore a daring, alluring white bodysuit, snake-patterned fishnet stockings, sheer lace, and sexy heels. Her slender waist moved gracefully, and her black hair was cut in a neat, center-parted bob. Her exquisite features were both capable and alluring, while her clear eyes held a cool arrogance. She carried an Endless Explosion Bolt. Who else could it be but the beautiful spy, Ada Wong?
Hermione, held in her arms, was still shaken, but she wore an equally daring school uniform, also from Amos's lingerie line.
