"Check your surroundings first. See if there are any human detection devices or monitors."
Better safe than sorry. Su Yi didn't want anyone finding out that he had Groudon.
Once he'd confirmed the area was safe, Su Yi released Groudon again.
"Mm..."
Groudon had controlled its size, but not its weight. The moment it appeared, it plummeted straight toward the ground.
The earth was about to shake all over again.
Su Yi focused his thoughts on the Ability Designation Card.
Designate target: Groudon!
Designate Ability: Levitate!
[ Ding! Target designation successful. Ability designation successful. Congratulations, Host! Groudon now has the Levitate Ability! ]
An invisible force descended. Groudon felt as if something it had never possessed before had appeared inside it.
Seeing that Groudon had actually begun to float instead of continuing to fall, Su Yi couldn't help feeling overjoyed.
Groudon could finally fly!
Now, even if he took Groudon to challenge other Legendary Pokémon, he wouldn't have to worry about losing face!
"Rooaaar!!"
A deafening roar rang out!
Su Yi's expression changed.
"Groudon, stop roaring! Someone might hear you. Get back in the Master Ball for now!"
Su Yi hurried away.
Suppressing his excitement, he opened the [Mysterious Scroll] as he walked!

A treasure map?
Not bad. The places marked on treasure maps were usually well hidden, making this the perfect chance to train and raise his four Pokémon.
Following the route shown on the map, Su Yi worked out the location and set off in that direction.
Just then, all the major high school Spirit Academies received an important message from the Pokémon League!
"Closely monitor the actual circumstances of the Trainer examinees in Spirit Primal Forest. If necessary, have an Elite Four member intervene directly!"
Clearly, the Pokémon League had noticed the low roar Groudon had let out earlier!
It had been incredibly loud.
Unfortunately, Su Yi's caution meant they were destined never to find its source.
Following the treasure map, Su Yi spent half a day reaching the cave marked on it.
Every so often, the sounds of Pokémon echoed from within.
"Frogadier!"
"Froak!"
Su Yi released Frogadier.
Frogadier looked at him, wondering who its opponent would be this time.
"Frogadier, as we enter this cave, Pokémon could appear at any moment. Stay alert."
"Froak!"
Frogadier nodded, as if to say it had everything under control.
There was also a hint of excitement in its eyes. This was something it had never experienced before.
Let's go treasure hunting in the cave!
At first, there was still a little light inside.
But the deeper Su Yi and Frogadier went, the less light there was, and the harder it became to see.

At the sound, Frogadier instinctively looked toward a certain spot.
It had sensed another Wild Pokémon approaching.
Su Yi held his breath and placed a hand on another Pokeball—Trapinch's.
If anything went wrong, he could call Trapinch out right away.
At the same time, he realized that this situation was excellent training for both him and Frogadier.
Darkness meant the unknown, and the unknown was often frightening.
But Su Yi wasn't afraid. The system's Eye of Investigation had already revealed what was growling.
A Lv. 22 Geodude.

But it seemed furious, perhaps because Su Yi and Frogadier had barged into the home where it had never before seen a Trainer.
There was nothing to be done about it.
According to the route on the treasure map, the supposed treasure was somewhere deep inside this cave.
It was difficult to reason with an angry Wild Pokémon. They would have to fight.
"Geodude!"
Geodude let out a strange cry and used Rollout against Frogadier!
Its body curled into a ball and hurtled toward them!
From the sound, Su Yi could tell that Geodude was targeting Frogadier.
It was instinctive behavior for a Wild Pokémon. It assumed that if it beat the Trainer's Pokémon, the Trainer would be helpless.
"Frogadier, use the sound and movement to gauge where it is. Lure it in close, then use Water Pulse!"
Su Yi needed to finish the fight quickly.
Who knew how many Wild Pokémon were in this cave?
Frogadier held its breath and used the noise Geodude made to judge its position.
"Froak!"
Frogadier leaped, but in the darkness, Su Yi could only make out its vague outline.
He knew Frogadier hadn't succeeded on its first try.
Geodude's Rollout didn't stop after it hit Frogadier once. It turned around and charged again.
This time, Frogadier didn't need Su Yi to tell it what to do. It knew it had to try again.
Its eyes fixed on the direction Geodude was coming from.
"Froak!"
It dodged sideways, perfectly!
Water Pulse!
The pale blue Water Pulse slammed into Geodude, dealing quadruple damage!
Geodude collapsed.
[ Ding! Congratulations, Host! Frogadier defeated Geodude and gained Battle Experience! ]
They continued onward.
At last, light appeared up ahead.
Su Yi and Frogadier exchanged a glance, both sharing the same joy.
The light came from glowing stones embedded in the cave walls.
Rumble!
A Lv. 25 Graveler charged toward them!
"Froak!"
Frogadier slashed fiercely with Cut, knocking Graveler's attack off course.
[ Ding! Congratulations, Host! Frogadier performed exceptionally well and activated a hidden reward: Skill Awakening Card—Water Gun! ]
Perfect timing!
"Use it. Designate Frogadier!"

Water Gun was a ranged Water Type move. It was just what they needed!
"Frogadier, Water Gun!"
Su Yi pointed at Graveler. Feeling the newly awakened move inside it, Frogadier spat out a jet of water!
"Geah!"
Graveler was hit by the Water Gun.
But it was no Geodude. Though the Water Gun dealt quadruple damage, Graveler managed to hold on.
But then Frogadier rushed in and hit it with a Water Pulse!
[ Ding! Congratulations, Host! Frogadier defeated Graveler and gained Battle Experience. Its level rose to Lv. 21! ]
Another victory!
Su Yi, Frogadier, and Trapinch had defeated more than a dozen Wild Pokémon along the way before finally reaching the deepest part of the cave.
There was no treasure like he'd imagined.
The unfamiliar stones embedded in the walls were quite beautiful, though.
Su Yi found a glowing heart-shaped stone, then picked out a few others with attractive shapes and put them away.
He could give them to Su Xiyan later. She'd definitely like them.
Aside from the stones in the walls, the only thing here was a huge, oddly shaped boulder.
There was no doubt about it. The so-called treasure was probably hidden inside.
"Trapinch, I'm counting on you. Use Crunch!"
