Tian Ling'er is the daughter of Great Bamboo Peak’s leaders, Tian Buyi and Su Ru. She is introduced as a lively young girl with bright eyes, standing beside her mother in Shou Jing Hall when Ye Yun and Zhang Xiaofan formally join the peak. 13

She immediately teases Zhang Xiaofan for blushing at her, establishing her habit of playfully bullying her junior brothers. Su Ru repeatedly admonishes her to protect Ye Yun rather than bully him. 14 16

Bond with Ye Yun

Tian Ling'er initially plays with Ye Yun to distract him from his grief, though she also enjoys rubbing his chubby face and waking him through tricks such as tickling, removing his blankets, or tempting him with food. 15 16
