Background

Tsunade is the First Hokage's granddaughter and regards Mito Uzumaki as her grandmother. Her family was devastated by war: Nawaki died, and the loss of another person dear to her left her with hemophobia and little faith in the ninja world. She took Kato Dan's niece, Shizune, as her disciple and spent years wandering while masking her grief with a carefree attitude. 102 182
