Minamoto Takuya refined his bloodline experiments while the war with Kumogakure escalated, then used the Collector persona to help Jiraiya defeat Cloud’s leading fighters. After the war ended, Takuya recruited Zabuza and returned to Konoha, where Shisui approached him before the victory celebration speech.

• Minamoto Takuya returned to Konoha on leave, then experimented with Wood Release fusion and studied Ice Release and Jugo’s Natural Energy absorption.
• Minamoto Takuya began testing Wind and Water Release fusion on prisoners, but the attempts failed and exhausted his mental energy.
• As Kumogakure and Iwagakure renewed their attacks, Minamoto Takuya returned to the front and watched Konoha’s defenders struggle against the Raikage, Killer B, and Yugito.
• Minamoto Takuya appeared as the Collector and agreed to fight Killer B, while Jiraiya entered Sage Mode and confronted the Fourth Raikage A.
• Jiraiya crippled A, and the Collector wounded Gyuki and helped Konoha force Killer B and the remaining Cloud forces to retreat with A.

Minamoto Takuya trained with Tsunade’s teachings, strengthened his abilities, and brought Yakushi Nonō and Kabuto Yakushi together under his control. After testing a barrier that could contain Jugo’s Natural Energy, he traveled to Takigakure to seek the Seven-Tails.

Minamoto Takuya recovered from the Eye-Opening Device’s influence, strengthened his Sharingan and Sage Mode, and intervened in Konoha’s Uchiha crisis. After extracting chakra from the Four-Tails, he kept Roshi as leverage and considered how to obtain Iwagakure’s secrets.

• Minamoto Takuya took Hero Water and Seven-Tails Chakra from the Takikage, then seized part of Shukaku’s chakra from Gaara before returning to his base to develop his power.
• Minamoto Takuya used Gaara’s memories in the Eye-Opening Device, awakened the Three Tomoe Sharingan, and discovered that the experience had left him with dangerous urges to destroy others and acquire power.
• Minamoto Takuya faced the projections at Kumogakure’s True Waterfall, defeated them, and then endured agonizing procedures to remove the memories that fueled his unstable state.

Minamoto Takuya collected the remaining Tailed Beast chakra and watched Minato Namikaze and Shisui Uchiha crush a revolt that Obito Uchiha had stirred within the Uchiha Clan. The clan’s massacre was averted, but Shisui fell into a coma, and Takuya turned to stolen Mangekyō eyes and bloodline experiments to pursue greater power.

• Minamoto Takuya took Han’s Five-Tails chakra from Iwagakure and forced Ōnoki to surrender Dust Release teachings and Earth-Style scrolls to spare the village.
• Minato Namikaze and Minamoto Takuya stopped the Uchiha factions’ first battle, allowing Minato to attend Naruto’s Academy entrance ceremony, but Obito Uchiha later incited another bloody riot.
• Shisui Uchiha awakened Susanoo and fought Minato, who shattered it with Sage Mode, and Obito attacked Shisui, but Minato drove him off, and Minamoto Takuya took Shisui for treatment.
• Konoha investigated the unrest, removed the elders behind it, and supported Fugaku Uchiha’s efforts to rebuild and improve relations with the village, averting the Uchiha Clan Massacre Night.
