Cat and Dog Battle, Part 1

Sasuke was a little angry at Red Cat's actions.

Just this morning, he had fed Red Cat about five jin of beef, filling it up completely. This was the optimal amount of food for Red Cat, calculated by him.

Sasuke hadn't slept much last night either; he had been flipping through a manual on raising Ninja Beasts.

Red Cat was a gift from Yu, and he was determined to raise it well. That's why this morning he had solemnly told Red Cat, "You can't casually eat things from outside."

The Ninja Beast Training Manual stated that raising a Ninja Beast required the best food pairings, especially for young beasts. Red Cat was less than two years old since birth, so it qualified as a young beast.

Just as Sasuke was about to lose his temper, Red Cat spat out the little bird.

Terrified, the little bird immediately flew with all its might towards the sky after being spat out by Red Cat, disappearing above the village in a short while.

Finally, Red Cat came to Sasuke's feet and rubbed against his small leg with its body and head, acting incredibly docile.

Sasuke had little resistance to Red Cat's adorable flattery. The anger on his face disappeared in no time. However, Sasuke maintained a stern expression and, while stroking Red Cat's head, said, "I'll tell you again, you can't casually eat other things outside, especially live animals."

Red Cat nodded obediently, indicating it would obey its master's command.

Seeing this incredibly affectionate scene, Yu knew he had made the right decision this time. Sasuke's face was beaming with a smile, perhaps a smile Sasuke himself didn't even realize he was wearing.

With Yu around, Sasuke never hid his emotions.

As the two stepped through the entrance of the Ninja Academy, the class bell rang. They then displayed incredible speed as they dashed towards their respective classrooms.

The ninja dogs of the Inuzuka Clan were specially selected and trained, each possessing immense power. Their strength couldn't be judged by size alone.

Therefore, even though Akamaru was smaller than Red Cat, everyone present believed the scales of victory should tip in Akamaru's favor.

Ever since Sasuke brought Red Cat into the classroom earlier, Akamaru had become very agitated. Cats and dogs were natural enemies, and their first meeting was bound to be a fiery confrontation.

However, Akamaru was visibly agitated, while Red Cat barely glanced at him. This dealt a severe blow to Akamaru's confidence. He considered someone his rival, but that person didn't even acknowledge him. Anyone would feel bad in such a situation.

As Akamaru's owner, Kiba Inuzuka also sensed Akamaru's feelings. Many people in the class disliked Sasuke, and the majority of them were boys.

Kiba Inuzuka was naturally one of them. Seeing Red Cat's behavior, he felt the same way he did about Sasuke, and his anger flared up instantly.

So, at the start of ninjutsu class, Kiba Inuzuka proactively approached Sasuke and requested a match.

Of course, it wasn't a battle between them; Kiba Inuzuka knew his limits and recognized he wasn't Sasuke's match.

The request for a match was between Akamaru and Red Cat.

Sasuke initially didn't want to accept the match, but Red Cat seemed very interested, so Sasuke agreed.
