"Boss! Moo! I'm going to kill you!"

When Tauren Punch Master saw Sun Busong pierced through the body by an Ice Spear, his anger sent his blood rushing to his head. His bull's eyes turned bloodshot, and he immediately took off the hat covering his horns before charging toward the Undead mage like a madman! He would use his horns to gore the damned Undead who had killed his boss.

Right now, no one cared why a Tauren from an enemy faction had suddenly appeared on the battlefield.

Everyone was stunned. The Invincible God of War in their eyes had fallen!

Even when the Undead mage had just used an Ultimate Skill to wipe out 17 of their comrades, they had never felt such heart-wrenching pain.

In their hearts, Sun Busong had become like a savior. Only he could give the people of the town hope of surviving. But now, their God of War had fallen, pierced through the body by the Undead mage's Ice Spear.

Some villagers stared blankly at Sun Busong lying motionless on the ground. The weapons in their hands dropped, too. The only pillar of strength in their hearts had fallen!

The villagers' resolve was on the verge of collapse. They had no will to fight; even when the skeletons beside them struck them, they felt no pain.

"Cough, cough. Cough, cough, cough!" The fallen God of War suddenly moved, and then came a fit of violent coughing, mixed with a string of curses!

"Damn, that hurts! Cough, cough. Usop, are you blind? Why aren't you healing me? Huh? My bull—how'd someone knock my hat off?"

Whoosh!

The villagers, who had been like walking corpses and had lost all desire to live, heard Sun Busong's voice. They erupted like a drop of water hitting boiling oil!

"Hahaha, I knew the lord couldn't be defeated! Waaah~~~"

"The lord's alive! We're saved!"

"Those damned piles of bones took a few chunks out of me while I was grieving. Now it's time for payback."

"I knew the lord was invincible! My lord, kill it! Kill that disgusting Undead mage!"

The villagers' fighting spirit returned. With tears on their faces, they charged happily at the Undead soldiers around them.

That was freaking terrifying. For a moment, they'd thought the God of War had died!

Usop had been startled, too. He'd almost thought their commander was going to be killed. The man had over 50,000 Health Points! But thankfully, the commander could still curse!

Sun Busong forced himself upright, then pulled the Ice Spear that had run him through out with a burst of strength. As the spear came free, a jet of blood sprayed from the wound, and his Health Points dropped by another 250!

"Why are you just standing there? Heal me!"

After pulling out the Ice Spear, Sun Busong felt much lighter. That attack hadn't just taken one-fifth of his health; the spear had also rooted him for five seconds and reduced his Movement Speed. Once it was out, his condition returned to normal.

He had no idea that during the five seconds he'd been rooted, the villagers who saw him as their God of War had lost heart and nearly given up on living.

Charge!

Sun Busong charged again and reached the Undead mage, Mobent Fell. Then he slammed an Armor Break Attack into the enemy's face.

"Usop, have them take turns using Mobent's Bane. Once Mobent's defensive barrier is broken, everyone attack at once. The weaklings stay back and clear out the Skeleton Soldiers!"

"And make sure you keep me healed! If I die, you're all going to croak!"

"Yes, commander!"

There were 17 users of Holy Light gathered around Usop—Priests and Paladins. Following the arrangements Usop had made ahead of time, some of them healed their injured comrades nearby, while the others conserved their strength to use Mobent's Bane.

Sun Busong's attacks and Armor Break skill hadn't affected Mobent yet, but that was only because the Armor Break skill's effect hadn't kicked in.

"Everyone, close in! We've only got 30 seconds! Once Mobent's protective barrier disappears, attack with everything you've got. Casters, use your Ultimate Skills. Physical fighters, use the special equipment and explosives I gave you. Keep track of the seconds yourselves. Once you've attacked, withdraw quickly—don't get carried away!"

Armor Break had stacked to five layers. All the Caster Class professionals gathered outside the 100-yard range around the Undead mage Mobent.

"Get ready! Five, four, three, two, one—kill!"

When Usop shouted, "Get ready," all the comrades gathered around Mobent began closing in on the boss. When he shouted, "Kill," a Priest used Mobent's Bane. Pop! The defensive barrier broke!

They had 30 seconds for maximum damage. Now it was all about speed and firepower!

Usop and six Paladins hurled Exorcism and Holy Wrath at Mobent, while the other Priests cast Smite and Penance!

They were the main force against Mobent. During those critical 30 seconds, they dealt over 11,000 damage to him in total!

Then came the other Caster Class professionals. There were many types among them: Mages, Arcane Mages, Necromancers, Druids, and more.

Although there were many of them, their levels weren't high. And Mobent was an Undead mage, highly resistant to all magic except Holy magic. They dealt just over 5,000 damage.

The physical fighters dealt the least damage to Mobent. Even with the bombs Sun Busong had given them, they had only taken a little over 2,000 health from him.

As soon as the 30 seconds were up, Sun Busong shouted, "Fall back!"

The crowd immediately retreated in a rush. Just as everyone had withdrawn more than 100 yards, the staff in Mobent's hand lit up again. This time, though, the attack only hit Sun Busong.

"You worms! You, my food! You actually dared to attack me! This vessel may be too decrepit to use any longer, but even so, you insignificant insects have no right to harm me! Now taste my wrath!"

Sun Busong lost over 4,000 health again!

This time, Sun Busong saw clearly that, with everyone working together, their round of attacks had reduced Mobent's health by one-tenth! That meant Mobent had around 200,000 health in total. Sun Busong had also spotted Mobent's Mana Value bar while he was casting his spell!

It still had 60% left!

So its Mana Value could be depleted, too. That was no problem!

Under Sun Busong's direction, everyone then knocked another 65% off Mobent's health bar! By now, Mobent had very little Mana Value left!

The villagers could see victory within reach. All the Undead skeletons had been killed, and there wasn't a single corpse left in the graveyards around town—only empty graves!

The wild wolves, werewolves, spiders, and ogres still harassing the north and south sides of town had also been almost entirely wiped out by the melee fighters.

Now everyone was united, waiting for the moment the Undead mage fell!

23% left!

22%!

21%!

20%!

Just as the boss was down to its last 20% health, another damn change occurred!

"You damned insects! You found that accursed book! You've ruined the great mage's plan to reconstruct his body! You'll pay for this!"

After Mobent Fell shouted those words, the vessel of the Hermit Abercrombie began to split apart. A huge skeleton forced its way through the cracks.

"Fall back! Everyone, retreat! Usop, you retreat, too. The boss is transforming!"

Sun Busong was a seasoned player. Seeing this, he immediately realized the boss was entering its second phase. He wasn't sure if there'd be a third, but there was nothing to do except fight!

The skeleton grew larger and larger. Its leg bones were already as thick as Sun Busong. Eventually, once it had grown to more than five meters tall, it stopped.

"Hehehe. Kneel, and pay for what you've done!"

Skeleton Mobent lowered its skull and swept its eerie green, ghost-fire eyes across the people surrounding it.

"Summon Flesh Corpse Worms!"

The skeleton opened its jaws, and countless tiny corpse worms flew out. The worms, each only about the size of a fingernail, rushed toward the corpses on the ground and began devouring them! A great many more flew toward the other two defensive points.

There were even more corpses there: wild wolves, werewolves, ogres, and Spider Monsters!

They devoured the bodies incredibly fast. In only a few seconds, the fingernail-sized worms had grown as large as adult fists.

"Flesh Reconstruction!"

When the worms had eaten until they were the size of soccer balls and their bellies looked ready to burst, Skeleton Mobent shouted again. The crowd witnessed a horrifying sight.

All the worms flew back to the giant skeleton's frame and were absorbed into it. More and more worms returned, and flesh slowly began to grow over the bones, slowly being reconstructed!

"Stop it!"

Commander Althea Eberlock shouted to Sun Busong.

But how was he supposed to stop that? By yelling, "No, don't!"?

Sun Busong charged at Skeleton Mobent again and brought his dual axes down hard.

-588!

Sun Busong's eyes lit up when he saw the damage! His attacks could hurt the boss!

"Attack! Everyone, attack! Don't let the boss complete its transformation!" If he could damage the boss, then the other physical fighters could, too.

Sun Busong immediately called everyone to attack the boss!

Three minutes later!

"No! You worms! You've interrupted the great mage's Flesh Reconstruction! You'll pay for this!"

Skeleton Mobent could no longer be called a skeleton. It was better described as Abomination Mobent.

Rotting flesh covered its body. Its huge head looked as though wild dogs had gnawed at it; torn flesh and visible skull showed everywhere.

Many of its ribs protruded through its body, and one arm was half white bone and half flesh.

Its reconstruction had been interrupted. It had failed! Now it was only a half-finished creature!

Abomination Mobent still had about 60% of its health bar left. If Sun Busong hadn't ordered everyone to attack in time, they would have been facing a complete boss now.

"Everyone stay back! I'll test it out first!"

Sun Busong told everyone to withdraw, then charged forward alone. Usop and his healing team watched him from a distance. The moment his Health Points dropped, they would restore them as quickly as possible.

Armor Break! Armor Break again!

All Sun Busong wanted now was to stack Armor Break to its maximum. More than half the people on the battlefield were physical fighters, and nearly all of them were Elite Level.

"Devour!"

Abomination Mobent used its skill. Its huge bony hand struck Sun Busong, taking 300 Health Points from him! The boss no longer had a Mana Value bar. Having failed to transform, it had become a physical boss.

To Sun Busong, 300 damage was nothing more than a tickle. But when he looked at the health bar above the boss's head again, he froze!

+450!

That was Abomination Mobent's healing skill. It stole 150% of the damage dealt to an enemy as Health Points!

That was its skill, Devour!

Lethal Strike

Melee range

Instant cast. 60-second cooldown.

Requires a melee weapon.

A vicious attack that deals weapon damage plus 85 damage to the target and reduces the effectiveness of all healing by 50% for 10 seconds.

Sun Busong hit the boss in the face with a Lethal Strike. Then he looked over his shoulder and spotted a Level 46 Elite Warrior among his teammates.

"Do you know the Lethal Strike skill?"

"Reporting, sir! I do, and I'm very proficient with it!" Being singled out by the Imperial Guard commander had the Warrior tremendously excited! If he could fight alongside the commander, it'd be something he could brag about even after he was dead!

"Good! Everyone else stay back. The two of us will test it a little more. If Mobent doesn't have any large-area damage skills, then we've won today!"

"Long live the lord!"

"Yes, sir!"

The Level 46 Elite Warrior wore an excited smile as he charged toward Sun Busong under the envious and jealous stares of everyone behind him—no, toward the boss!

Abomination Mobent's Devour skill turned out to be an aura skill. As long as it was alive, the skill would remain active. After the two of them fought Abomination Mobent for five minutes, Sun Busong confirmed that the boss truly had no other large-area attacks. The battlefield became a 1v365!

With 15 minutes left until dawn, Abomination Mobent was beaten to death by the crowd. The defense of Night Town had won a glorious victory!

The post-battle report: the enemy's main boss, the Undead mage Mobent Fell, who had been wanted across the Azeroth Continent for several hundred years, had been eliminated.

Two Undead Silver Elite monsters that had long occupied Duskwood—Skeleton Commander Festerom and Undead Duke Marasom—had also been exterminated!

The Rare Elite wild wolf Rubus and the Rare Elite spider Nalakhsis had been skinned and dismembered, and their hides and parts had been made into equipment!

The Silver Elite werewolf brothers Fenros and Nefaru had also been slain.

With that, all the threats in the Duskwood region had been eliminated. Night Town welcomed a new sunrise and gained new allies—or, perhaps, new rulers!

The Imperial Guard commander!

Sun Busong!
