Kalecgos looked at Krasus and Red Dragon approaching him suspiciously, and asked warily, "Are you here to persuade me to go back?"
Krasus nodded gracefully and whispered, "As a compatriot, I understand your closeness to magical energy, but Sunwell after all."
"I don't." Kalecgos immediately interrupted him and crossed his arms, "It's useless for anyone to say it."
Krasus's smile froze on his face. He tried to persuade him from various angles - from Dragon Race's responsibility to magic ethics, and even hinted that Malygos might come to him in person - but Kalecgos was like a stubborn stone, only repeating those three words: "I don't."
In the end, even Krasus, who has always been gentle, couldn't help but rub his temples. "You are more stubborn than Northrend's thousand-year-old ice."
Antonidas recorded all of this with great interest. "Wonderful! Blue Dragon's attachment behavior to a specific source of magic. This can fill a paper!"
Jaina finally couldn't bear it anymore and pulled the teacher away. "Teacher, please don't provoke Dragon Race to Theramore."
Antonidas reluctantly looked back at Kalecgos: "At least let me take a sample of the scales."
"No!" Jaina and Krasus said in unison.
A few days later, Chromie still tried to persuade her twice, but still failed to persuade Blue Dragon. Finally, a huge Red Dragon gracefully landed on the open space outside the city, transforming into a noble and elegant red-haired woman.
"It's Alexstrasza!" Onyxia exclaimed.
Deren felt a headache. "Now things are getting serious."
The news that Life-Binder personally arrived at Theramore spread throughout the city instantly. When Red Dragon Queen, accompanied by Jaina, came to Mage Tower, Kalecgos was "dressing up" the well - he used magic to conjure some blue ribbons and tried to tie them on the well.
"Kalecgos." Alexstrasza's voice was gentle and dignified, "We need to talk."
Kalecgos turned around and saw Red Dragon Queen. He visibly shrank, but quickly straightened his back. "I won't go back."
Alexstrasza sighed lightly, "Malygos is very unhappy."
"He's always unhappy." Kalecgos muttered.
"You have brought shame to the entire Blue Dragonflight." Alexstrasza's tone became stern, "A Blue Dragon is obsessed with a well? Do you know what other races are talking about this matter?"
Kalecgos shook his head stubbornly. "I don't care."
"You must care!" Alexstrasza's voice suddenly rose, and the surrounding temperature seemed to rise a few degrees, "As a member of Aspect Dragons, you have a responsibility."
"I won't!" Kalecgos almost shouted, with a child-like stubbornness in his voice.
Deren saw veins popping up on Alexstrasza's arms, and her beautiful face was slightly distorted with anger. For a moment, he thought Red Dragon Queen would spit out a breath of dragon's breath and burn Kalecgos to ashes.
Chromie rushed out in time. "Queen Your Majesty, please calm down!" Little Gnome stood between the two, "Kael He was just, uh, temporarily confused by magic!"
Alexstrasza took a deep breath and managed to calm down. "Kalecgos, this is my last good word of advice. Go back to the Nexus and pretend this never happened."
Kalecgos looked at Red Dragon Queen, then at Mage Tower, and finally shook his head firmly. "I want to stay here to protect my love."
A trace of exhaustion flashed in Alexstrasza's eyes. "It's up to you." She turned to Jaina, "Sorry to disturb your city, Ms. Jaina. Dragon Race will not take care of this matter anymore."
Jaina breathed a sigh of relief, "Thank you for your understanding."
Red Dragon Queen took one last look at Kalecgos, shook his head, and flew away in the form of Dragon. The residents of Theramore stared blankly at this scene. The level of this farce obviously exceeded their expectations.
"I gave up." After Chromie sent Alexstrasza away, he came back and slumped on the sofa at Deren's house, with a haggard face, "Let him be captured by the orcs for Dragon Beast's experiment."
Deren poured her a cup of tea. "Is the situation really that bad?"
Chromie took the tea cup and said weakly, "Malygos was so angry that he smashed things in the Nexus. Alexstrasza refused to care about it anymore. Nozdormu just said, 'Time will tell everything' and disappeared."
She took a big sip of tea, "And I, poor Chromie, have to give up my wonderful fishing life to stare at this stubborn stupid dragon!"
Onyxia walked down the stairs and chuckled when he heard these words: "At least he is more normal than Malygos - it is better to be crazy about the magic well than crazy about wiping out all the mages."
Chromie glared at her. "This is no time for joking! Kalecgos's behavior has already affected Timeline!"
Deren raised his eyebrows. "How do you say that?"
"In the original Timeline, he should..." Chromie suddenly stopped and looked at Onyxia warily, "Well, anyway, he shouldn't fall in love with a well here!"
Deren thoughtfully said, "So he should be obsessed with Sunwell or the incarnation of Sunwell"
"Shh!" Chromie jumped up and covered Deren's mouth, "Stop talking nonsense!"
Onyxia narrowed his eyes. "What are you two hiding? I already know this!"
At this moment, there was a noise outside the window. Deren They came to Mage Tower and saw from a distance that Kalecgos was building some kind of structure in front of Mage Tower - it looked like a nest?
"What is he doing?" Deren muttered to himself.
Chromie also came over to take a look, and then wailed. "No! He is going to build a nest there! Like a dragon during the courtship period!"
Onyxia couldn't help laughing, "I have to say, this is much more interesting than Black Dragon Legion's conspiracies."
Deren looked at the farce in front of him, and then at the crazy Chromie beside him, and suddenly had a strange feeling - although Kalecgos's behavior was absurd, there was a strange power in this chaos - the power of comedy.
"Maybe." Deren said softly, "Just let him do whatever he wants for once?"
Chromie and Onyxia turned to look at him at the same time, with identical expressions of disbelief.
"Are you serious?" Chromie asked sharply.
Deren shrugged. "No one can persuade him anyway, right? And" he looked in the direction of Mage Tower, "Compared to the tragedies in the original Timeline, this ending may not be bad."
Chromie opened her mouth, as if she wanted to refute, but in the end she just sighed, "Okay, but I have to keep an eye on him in case he is really captured by the orcs." She rubbed her temples, "My life of fishing."
Outside Mage Tower, Kalecgos was happily decorating his "Love Nest" with magic and other things found in the city, completely ignoring the pointing and watching spectators around him. The sun shone on his blue robe, reflecting a strange light.
Deren suddenly smiled, "At least he is happy now."
Onyxia raised an eyebrow. "When did you become so emotional?"
Chromie: "Dragon Race has lost all his face. It's best not to be captured. I looked at the old mage with the white beard last time, and I almost drooled just looking at him."
