The dragons' revival sent tremors through the earth. Such a massive disturbance was bound to affect Wyrmrest Temple, which stood in Dragonblight. At that moment, the Red Dragon Queen Alexstrasza and her consort were inside the temple. The instant the bone dragon took flight, they soared out of Wyrmrest Temple.

Perhaps the Lich King had never intended to hide anything. He wanted to loudly proclaim to the world that he and his Scourge would once again sweep across the land.

The hundred-meter-long bone dragon revived by the Lich King, buried at the edge of Dragonblight, was no ordinary dragon. It had once been the consort of Malygos, the Blue Dragon King: Sindragosa, the Blue Dragon Queen.

So when Alexstrasza led her Red Dragonflight into a confrontation with the Lich King, she hesitated, unsure how to act. After all, Sindragosa's importance to Malygos went without saying. Even as a pile of bones, Alexstrasza couldn't bring herself to attack her. Who knew how Malygos would react if she did?

One side was wary, while the other had no scruples. On top of that, the bone dragon revived by the Lich King could keep fighting as long as it wasn't smashed to pieces. Alexstrasza was already at a disadvantage in the fight, and with a Dragon Rider standing on Sindragosa's head, the slightest lapse in attention could leave her taking twice the damage. Though Alexstrasza could use life energy to heal herself, she also had to keep an eye on her Red Dragonflight at all times. This left her struggling to manage both fronts, and if the fight continued, it was only a matter of time before she lost.
