"Have you found out why Hamul betrayed us?"
Leiluo studied the large map of Azeroth spread across the table. Several bright red marks stood out: Mulgore and Tanaris in Kalimdor, Westfall on the Eastern Kingdoms Continent, Storm Peaks in Northrend, where Leiluo was now, and Zul'Arak. These five places had become hotbeds of trouble. All the chaos had begun because of them.
The reason Leiluo had asked specifically about Mulgore was that its situation was even stranger. The other four places could all be considered under attack by outside forces, but Mulgore alone had suffered a rebellion. Leiluo couldn't help but take that seriously, and deep down, he refused to believe that the people he had sacrificed so much for would betray him.
Lantresuo glanced guiltily at Vereesa, who was looking at him reproachfully, then quickly looked away and answered Leiluo.
"Hamul was probably controlled by Gul'dan. That's what Lord Cairne told us. Our people can't infiltrate Mulgore at all. As soon as they go in, we lose contact with them. Then, whenever we try to make contact in secret, we run into people like this."
"Cairne told you? Does he have any proof?"
Leiluo frowned. Cairne's account was what he wanted to hear, but without evidence, it could only be treated as a possibility, not a final conclusion.
Still, what Lantresuo said was indeed strange. One moment, they were loyal subordinates; the next, they had become the enemy's lackeys. That did seem to support Cairne's account.
"Lord Cairne said he got the information from Warchief, and the original source was a Darkspear Troll close to Warchief named Zul'jin."
"Zul'jin? Why does that name sound so familiar?"
Leiluo felt he had heard that name somewhere before, but he couldn't remember where.
"Warchief once said that the reason they came to
