Kakashi Gu Qi Arrives

In Konoha year 51, three years had passed since the Nine-Tails' invasion of Konoha.

In those three years, the pain in some people's hearts had gradually faded.

"Konoha, Hokage, Ninja... I never thought I'd end up in this world."

Perched on a tree branch, a three-year-old child leaned against the trunk, watching the snowflakes dance in the sky with a sigh.

This boy's name was Gu Qi. He wasn't from this world, or rather, his soul wasn't.

He had originally been an ordinary young man in the 21st century. One day, while playing games and watching a Naruto movie on his phone, he had died from an electric shock.

When he woke up again, the first thing he saw was an enormous, orange cat.

Except, this giant cat had nine tails.

Just as the giant cat was about to crush Gu Qi into a pulp, a man with a Konoha forehead protector and snow-white hair appeared and whisked Gu Qi away at the last second.

In that instant, Gu Qi was stunned. "Holy crap, a live-action Kakashi! So damn cool."

Recalling the big orange cat from before, Gu Qi immediately understood. It was October 10th, year 48 of Konoha, the day the Chosen One, Naruto Uzumaki, was born.

It was also the day Obito Uchiha broke the seal on Kushina Uzumaki and released the Nine-Tails Demon Fox.

Even with Gu Qi's appearance as a butterfly effect in this world, it hadn't changed the historical trajectory of the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, sacrificing himself for the village.

"Sigh! What am I going to do from now on!"

Gu Qi thought about the future of the Naruto world and couldn't help but sigh.

Things were manageable before the Chunin Exams, but after the Konoha Crush arc and the start of Shippuden, Konoha's enemies began to grow increasingly powerful.

Gu Qi knew that if he couldn't keep up, he'd just become cannon fodder.

Gu Qi wasn't an idiot. All three of them were seven or eight years old. Why would he go down there to get beaten up!

So, a grin spread across his face, and he unleashed his snowball technique once more.

"You just wait!"

"You're finished."

Gu Qi clapped his hands with satisfaction, watching the three boys scramble away in disarray.

Only after the three had left did Gu Qi slide down the tree trunk.

"Are you okay?" Gu Qi walked up to the girl, gently patting the snow off her clothes and comforting her softly.

Gu Qi looked at her Byakugan and said, "You're from the Hyuga Clan, right? I'll take you home!"

"Th-thank you."

"Let me tell you! Next time someone bullies you, you can't back down, okay? The more you act like this, the more they'll bully you." Gu Qi imparted his hard-earned experience like an elder.

"Also, as a girl, you shouldn't come out alone next time, okay? It's dangerous!"

"You must be hungry! Here, have this lollipop." Gu Qi pulled a lollipop out of nowhere and offered it to her.

"Thank you!"

The young girl from the Hyuga Clan deeply remembered the appearance of the sunny boy before her.

Unknowingly, the two of them walked all the way to the front of the Hyuga Clan's grand mansion.

And the infamous Copy Ninja, Kakashi Hatake, was his paternal cousin.

After saving the damsel in distress and playing the part of her escort, Kakashi Gu Qi slowly walked back home through the heavy snow. His home was a duplex Ninja Tool Shop!

This shop was left behind by Gu Qi's deceased parents.

During the Nine-Tails' attack years ago, if it weren't for Gu Qi's parents sacrificing themselves to protect him and Kakashi Hatake arriving in time, Gu Qi might have followed his parents' footsteps and died under the Nine-Tails' might.

"Yo, Kakashi, watching the shop?" Gu Qi asked as he entered the Ninja Tool Shop, spotting Kakashi engrossed in a lewd magazine.

Upon hearing Gu Qi's voice, Kakashi's exposed right eye turned into the Hyuga Clan's exclusive Byakugan.

"How dare you say that! Who watches the shop like you, just putting up a sign and running off?"

Thinking about it, Kakashi couldn't help but get angry.

He had just left the Hokage's office when Gu Qi, worried about being alone, came to check on him.

He didn't expect that the only thing in the Ninja Tool Shop was a sign that read "[Owner is out, please take what you need and make change yourself]," and no one else was around.

If his mask hadn't been covering his face, Kakashi's mouth would have probably been crooked by now.

"Come on, come on! The people of Konoha are united and friendly; there are no thieves here," Gu Qi said nonchalantly.

"There are thieves, catch him."

As if heaven couldn't stand it any longer, a thief immediately appeared and slapped Gu Qi's face repeatedly.

"..."

"Ahem, that was an accident, an accident. The people of Konoha are very friendly; this was just an accident," Gu Qi explained awkwardly.

"Get lost, you demon."

"Go to hell! Yaoguai."

On the street, a young boy in an orange jacket walked dejectedly down the road.

On both sides of the street, the friendly villagers Gu Qi had mentioned were cursing the boy with the most venomous words.

Gu Qi remembered that there were no guards around the girl at all.

"That's true." Kakashi was just joking around and didn't think it was that coincidental.

"What do you want for dinner? My treat." Kakashi asked.

"How about barbecue?" Gu Qi grinned.

"...Can't you save me some money?" Kakashi rolled his eyes.

"You don't have a girlfriend anyway, so what do you need so much money for?"

However, since Gu Qi had asked, Kakashi agreed.

Yakiniku Q, one of the seven most profitable shops in Konoha.

"This, this, and this."

Arriving at the barbecue restaurant, Gu Qi took the menu and waved his hand, ordering a huge pile of dishes. Kakashi's face turned a little green at the amount ordered.

"If you dare to waste any of it, I'll stuff it all into your stomach," Kakashi threatened with a terrifying expression.

[Heh, scare me!] Gu Qi grinned, preparing to teach the other party a lesson.

Seeing Gu Qi's expression, Kakashi knew trouble was brewing.

As expected, Gu Qi frowned, and with a wail, burst into tears.

While crying, Gu Qi choked out, pointing at Kakashi and calling him a bad guy.

Kakashi stared at his cousin with a dark expression. If he didn't know his cousin well, he probably would have been fooled by the other's acting.

Sighing, Kakashi glanced at the surrounding diners and knew that he couldn't get out of this without paying a hefty price today.
