Fighting Kakashi

By noon the next day, Gu Qi arrived at the agreed-upon grove right on time. Kakashi had already been waiting there for a long time.

If it were anyone else, like Might Guy, or even Might Guy again, Kakashi would surely get lost on life's path and wouldn't arrive until the afternoon.

Kakashi first blocked Gu Qi's right foot with his hand, then grabbed Gu Qi's left foot, preparing for an Earth Throw.

"Bang!" As Gu Qi thrust his hands in a tiger seal towards Kakashi's ** , the opponent suddenly turned into a wooden log.

Then Gu Qi heard Kakashi's voice from behind him, "Konoha Arcane Art·Thousand Years of Death!"

"Holy crap!" Gu Qi, mimicking him, immediately used the Substitution Technique to dodge this ultimate Konoha Taijutsu Arcane Art.

Gu Qi wiped the cold sweat from his forehead, he almost capsized in the gutter.

"Not bad, little Gu Qi, you actually managed to dodge my attack," Kakashi said with a smile.

Gu Qi retorted, not to be outdone, "You too, Kakashi, you actually managed to take three-tenths of my strength."

"Of course, I am Kakashi Hatake," Kakashi boasted.

"Huh? Today, I'll let you taste what failure is."

With that, Gu Qi charged at Kakashi again, began forming hand seals, and unleashed Earth Run.

"Lightning Style—Earth Run."

Current flowed along the ground, rushing very quickly towards Kakashi not far away.

Seeing Kakashi still smiling and unmoved, Gu Qi secretly thought it was bad.

As expected, when the current touched Kakashi, he disappeared with a "bang."

"Clone Technique? Could it be from that time?"

Gu Qi immediately thought that when Kakashi was using Thousand Years of Death, his main body had likely already hidden itself.

Immediately after, Gu Qi was pulled underground by a tremendous force.

"How's that, surrender yet?"

Kakashi squinted his eyes, looking at Gu Qi, whose head was just sticking out of the ground.

"Heh!"

For Gu Qi to admit defeat? Impossible.

Seeing Gu Qi's proud expression and refusal to surrender, Kakashi's eyes narrowed completely.

"Still not admitting defeat? Then I won't hold back," Kakashi said.

Gu Qi swallowed. This Kakashi guy was truly capable of anything.

"Un-Tsu-Mi, Lightning Style - Chidori."

With a sound like birds chirping, a large amount of electricity appeared on Kakashi's right hand.

"Hey, hey, hey, Kakashi, you're going too far! Someone could die," Gu Qi said, cold sweat dripping down his face.

Although he knew Kakashi wouldn't actually do anything to him, the piercing bird-like chirping was truly unbearable for Gu Qi.

Kakashi heard this and nodded, "You're right!"

So, Kakashi put away the Chidori, but a faint electric spark still flickered on his index finger.

"I'll give you one more chance! Are you surrendering or not?" Kakashi asked with a smile.

Gu Qi turned his head, "Impossible!"

Upon hearing this, Kakashi smiled even wider.

"Ahhh~"

In the forest, a large flock of birds was startled and flew away by a non-human scream.

On the streets of Konoha, Gu Qi's hair had all stood on end due to the electric shock.

Not just his hair, Gu Qi's handsome face had also become somewhat dark and shiny from the electric shock.

"Kakashi, you just wait," Gu Qi said hatefully.

Kakashi said, "About the Ninja Dog matter you mentioned earlier, I've already spoken with Senior Inuzuka Tsume. There are some newborn Ninja Dogs these past couple of days, so we'll go pick one out now."

"So soon? That's great!" Gu Qi said happily.

Gu Qi had expected to wait a couple of days, so he was thrilled to be able to pick out a Ninja Dog so quickly.

Not long after, the two arrived at the Inuzuka Clan's compound.

"Huh? Kiba, Akamaru, what are you guys doing here?" As soon as they reached the entrance of the Inuzuka Clan's compound, Gu Qi saw Kiba and Akamaru on his head.

Kiba said unhappily, "It's all because of you! Mom knew you were coming to pick out a Ninja Dog today, so she had me waiting here for you since early this morning."

Kiba was the same age as Gu Qi, so the two often played together.

It wasn't just Kiba; Gu Qi sometimes played with others like Shikamaru and Choji as well.

"Sorry, sorry!" Gu Qi said, rubbing his nose sheepishly.

After thinking for a moment, Gu Qi took two pieces of Dried Meat from his ninja tool pouch and offered them to Kiba, "Here, this is my specially made Dried Meat. Please have some with Akamaru."

"Huh? Beef jerky, and it's red bean flavored?" Kiba took the Dried Meat, sniffed it, and immediately identified its flavor.
