Background / History

Liu Erlong is the daughter of Yu Luomian, the second head of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, and Mother Liu. As an illegitimate child, she and her mother lived outside Qingyang City; Yu Luomian generally provided financial support but was absent from her life. Liu Erlong resented him for ignoring them and refused his offer to take her to the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan for training, choosing instead to remain with her mother and friends. 9 23

She enrolled at the Junior Soul Master Academy as a first-year student. Initially isolated alongside the academy’s Work-Study Students, she became Huangfu Ji’s friend after learning of his situation as the Puppet Grand Duke. She offered to protect him from bullying, although he possessed higher Soul Power. 9 10

During their early years at the academy, Liu Erlong repeatedly confronted Noble Students who bullied commoners and Work-Study Students. Her intervention against three students led to a wider conflict involving Yuan Ling’s faction, in which she stood with Huangfu Ji and the Work-Study Students. 14 16 17
