Setting up the pot to cook, packing the tent, wiping down the equipment—in just four days, Renard had become capable of handling every task required for an adventure. If his strength were sufficient, he could roam the forest alone.

After breakfast, the two set out once more for their final destination.

Renard still took the lead, clearing the way. Though he wielded a sharp Enchanted Longsword, the vines were extremely tough and difficult to cut through.
