Heisenberg met Wizard Shazam, passed his test, and learned that Lucifer and a mysterious blue giant might threaten the world he was shaping. After Shazam sent him back to Mogo, Heisenberg decided to visit Lucifer in Los Angeles and investigate the blue giant.

• Wizard Shazam tested Heisenberg with the Seven Deadly Sins and confirmed that their evil had not corrupted his soul.
• Heisenberg offered to help Shazam contain the sins, but Shazam chose to remain with them and told Heisenberg they would meet again in ten years.
• Shazam warned Heisenberg to beware of Lucifer and a blue giant standing above the universe, whom Heisenberg suspected was Doctor Manhattan.
• Shazam sent Heisenberg back to Mogo, where Heisenberg considered Shazam's powers and the future under Batman's rule.

Heisenberg arrived at Lucifer’s bar in Los Angeles with Mogo and met Maze, who flirted with him before recognizing his power. The encounter left Mogo jealous and Maze welcoming Heisenberg with drinks while Lucifer remained asleep upstairs.

• Heisenberg flew to Los Angeles carrying Mogo and entered Lucifer’s bar on the seventeenth floor.
• Maze dismissed a young man from the bar, then introduced herself and flirted with Heisenberg.
• Mogo transformed into a little girl and stopped Maze from drawing closer to Heisenberg.
• Maze drew her God Slaying Daggers, but Heisenberg identified himself and said he had not come looking for trouble.
• Maze put away her daggers, toasted Heisenberg, and said Lucifer would not wake before noon after a night with nineteen people.
• Maze made a cocktail for Mogo and teased her about her desire for Heisenberg.

Heisenberg and Mogo visited Lucifer’s bar and joined Maze for drinks while waiting for Lucifer to wake. When Lucifer and Heisenberg spotted the Black Angel outside, they confronted him, and Lucifer began fighting him while Heisenberg watched.

• Maze told Heisenberg that Lucifer would not wake for another two hours, and the three drank together at the bar.
• Lucifer came downstairs, introduced himself to Heisenberg, and complained that Heisenberg’s changes to the world were hurting the bar’s business and disrupting the flow of souls to Hell.
• Lucifer explained that he had noticed Heisenberg’s arrival and joked that their actions had made the universe a conspicuous center of the multiverse.
• Heisenberg and Lucifer saw the Black Angel outside the window, and Heisenberg placed Mogo beside Maze before joining Lucifer as they approached him.
• The Black Angel entered through the window and started brawling with Lucifer, while Heisenberg stayed back and watched.

Heisenberg met Lucifer and Amenadiel at Lux, where the brothers joked and argued before Amenadiel revealed that demons and angels were conspiring around the Spear of Longinus. Heisenberg, Lucifer, and Amenadiel each accepted responsibility for investigating the threat.

John Constantine exorcised a demon from a girl in Los Angeles and discovered a drawing of the Spear of Longinus, which demons were searching for. At the Bar of Light, Amenadiel urged Heisenberg and Lucifer to stop the other Demon Kings from obtaining the spear.

• John Constantine arrived at a Los Angeles apartment to exorcise a demon possessing a girl, using sunlight and a Seal of Solomon pendant.
• When the demon resisted, Constantine used a mirror and an incantation to trap it, then threw the mirror into the sunlight and freed the girl.
• Constantine noticed a drawing of a blade that he recognized as the demon's work, pocketed it, and left.
• At the Bar of Light, Heisenberg, Lucifer, and Amenadiel watched the exorcism; Lucifer recognized Constantine and remarked that he seemed close to death.
• Amenadiel identified the drawing as the Spear of Longinus and said demons had been searching for it, then asked Heisenberg and Lucifer to prevent the other Demon Kings from claiming it.

Lucifer and Heisenberg persuaded Amenadiel to ignore Hell’s search for the Spear of Longinus unless its seekers came to Earth. Five days after the Metropolis massacre, Jim Gordon planned to send Barbara to China, but an unexpected visitor appeared before her.

• Heisenberg and Lucifer told Amenadiel to let Hell’s inhabitants search for the Spear of Longinus and kill them if they escaped to Earth.
• Lucifer, Heisenberg, and Amenadiel spent three days drinking and talking while Lucifer brought female celebrities to his bar and Heisenberg sent Mogo away.
• As the world struggled under Bruce Wayne’s rule after the Metropolis massacre, Jim Gordon woke up hungover in Gotham and reassured Barbara that he was fine.
• Gordon told Barbara he planned to take her to a friend’s plane so she could travel to China, which he considered safer than the United States.
• After Gordon left the room, a woman in a black bodysuit and cat-ear goggles appeared before Barbara and made a face at her.

Barbara left home with Catwoman to join a safe house in Gotham, while Commissioner Gordon accepted that he could not resist the new order. Catwoman drove Barbara toward a women’s alliance of heroes and rogues, leaving Barbara to join Selina, Poison Ivy Pamela, and Black Canary.

• Barbara told Catwoman she would stay in Gotham and asked her to take her to their prepared safe house without telling Commissioner Gordon.
• Gordon found Barbara gone with clothes and tools missing, understood she had chosen to stay, and reluctantly accepted that he could do nothing against Bruce’s rule.
• Gordon turned off Wayne Channel propaganda, reflected that people had stayed indoors after the Metropolis massacre, and drank alone on his sofa.
• Catwoman pushed Barbara through Gotham’s empty streets, loaded her wheelchair and toolbox onto an Aston Martin, and drove her away.
• Catwoman told Barbara that she, Poison Ivy Pamela, and Black Canary lived in two Uptown mansions connected by tunnels, and Barbara teased her about being single.

Penguin brought Nygma out of Arkham and welcomed him back to his manor, where they reunited despite their history as friends and enemies. Penguin explained that Batman’s rise to the presidency and the powerful forces behind him had made Gotham’s crisis too large for either of them to face alone.

• Penguin waited at his violet-covered manor while his subordinate arranged to bring Nygma from Arkham.
• Eighteen minutes later, a Lincoln arrived, and Penguin personally opened the door for Nygma.
• Penguin and Nygma greeted each other, clasped hands, and embraced while each kept a dagger hidden behind his back.
• Penguin told Nygma that he had brought him back because Gotham’s changing circumstances demanded their combined strength.
• Penguin revealed that he had also invited Deathstroke and The Joker to join the meeting against Batman’s rule.

Penguin, Nygma, and Deathstroke gathered to discuss opposing Bruce Wayne and the Kryptonians, but their meeting was interrupted by Two-Face. Meanwhile, The Joker visited Catwoman and asked her to steal Harley Quinn back for him.

• Penguin welcomed Nygma and complained about Batman’s rise and his own time in Arkham.
• Deathstroke arrived armed with weapons he had built himself, surprising Penguin.
• Nygma denounced Bruce Wayne for abandoning his conflict with Gotham’s villains, and Penguin urged the group to focus on the Kryptonians.
• Two-Face arrived and said The Joker had invited him, but was delayed by other business.
• The Joker met Catwoman and Barbara at Catwoman’s base and asked Catwoman to find and steal back Harley Quinn.

Selina agreed to help The Joker find Harley Quinn, while Barbara argued that Gotham’s survivors should work with Bruce Wayne’s new regime rather than oppose it. At Penguin’s manor, The Joker killed Mr. Freeze to reserve a seat for his long-awaited friend, who arrived as Bruce Wayne.

• The Joker told Selina that Harley Quinn had been missing for seventeen days and asked her to find Harley.
• Barbara explained to Selina and Poison Ivy that Bruce Wayne, not Heisenberg, was directing Earth’s transformation and urged them to join the new ruling force.
• At Penguin’s manor, Penguin complained that The Joker’s people had crowded into his home.
• The Joker shot Mr. Freeze dead for sitting in the seat he had reserved for an arriving friend.
• The Joker welcomed Bruce Wayne into the manor, shocking Penguin and the other gathered villains.

Bruce attended the villains’ meeting openly as Batman while Fiona executed Deathstroke under the new Earth laws for hiding weapons. The Joker urged Bruce to abandon his restraints and kill the gathered villains, claiming Bruce had become a figure much like himself.

• Bruce walked over to The Joker as Deathstroke mocked him for revealing his identity and bringing Kryptonians.
• Fiona identified Deathstroke’s weapons, including Kryptonite bullets and a low-yield nuclear bomb, and had him seized and thrown into the sun.
• The Joker pulled Bruce into the bloodstained seat and declared that Bruce’s desire for control made him only a little different from The Joker.
• The Joker argued that Bruce and the villains were bound together by the United States’ laws and accused Bruce of helping them return to a country that would never give them closure.
• The Joker begged Bruce to kill him and the other villains, insisting that the new Earth had no place for him and that Bruce had become a shared Joker to gods and humanity.

The Joker tried to provoke Bruce into killing him by reenacting the tragedies he had inflicted on Robin and Barbara, but Bruce’s expanded perspective kept him from breaking. Bruce declared that the assembled villains would be held under guard until new laws were drafted, then sentenced under humanity’s law, while The Joker lamented that Bruce had changed and left him with no one who could make him laugh.

• The Joker sprawled across the table, cried over Bruce’s lost identity as Batman, then mocked him by recalling Robin’s death and Barbara’s paralysis.
• The Joker staged Barbara’s suffering and urged Bruce toward the hatred and despair he believed would make Batman kill him.
• Bruce imagined Heisenberg dismissing The Joker as insignificant, and the thought eased his rage.
• Bruce ordered Fiona to remember everyone present and keep them confined while he drafted new laws, declaring that they would be executed under the law that night.
• The Joker sat up in the blood and challenged Bruce’s claim that Wayne had won, saying Bruce’s change had taken away his only friend and source of enjoyment.

Bruce left after confronting The Joker, who was later found dead alongside Penguin, Nygma, and Two-Face. Heisenberg learned the executions followed Bruce’s new code, though Fiona had ordered the corpses displayed, and wondered what multiversal event The Joker’s death had prevented.

• Bruce mimed shooting himself, then left The Joker without looking back.
• Heisenberg woke in Los Angeles, said goodbye to Lucifer, and set off for Metropolis with Mogo.
• Passing over Gotham, Heisenberg spotted The Joker, Penguin, Nygma, and Two-Face displayed as corpses.
• Heisenberg realized The Joker’s death had earned him 8.9 billion Origin Matter and suspected it had changed events across multiple universes.
• Donald and Lawrence told Heisenberg that Bruce’s new code established the criminals’ guilt, while the Kryptonians carried out the executions and Fiona ordered the bodies displayed.

After returning to Mogo, Heisenberg devised a new future for the growing Kryptonian population: sending them through portals to other universes to influence events and gather Origin Matter. He ordered the system to prepare the multiverse exploration and transit equipment, leaving the installation for the next few days.

• Heisenberg ordered the Kryptonian warriors to throw the villains' corpses into the sun, then returned to Metropolis with Mogo.
• Eva welcomed Heisenberg and promised to buy him braised food, but she had not returned by the time Bach arrived.
• Bach asked Heisenberg to establish rules for governing the more than one hundred thousand Kryptonians, and Heisenberg decided to send them to other universes to create change and earn honor ranks through Origin Matter.

• Kara spent time with Alura and Zor-El, who praised Heisenberg and urged her to grow stronger and repay his guidance.
• Heisenberg arrived at the beach, and the Kryptonians knelt before him until he ordered them to sit and close their eyes.

Clark enjoyed his comfortable life on Mogo and prepared to explore a newly discovered universe as the Divine Kingdom’s only Fist of the Celestial. In that universe, Diana arrived to hunt a giant beast and found Heisenberg already there to see Godzilla.

• Clark woke late, shared breakfast with Lois and Martha, and learned from Nancy that Bruce’s troubles had stopped the Earth newspapers from arriving.
• Martha rejected Clark’s offer to resurrect his father or make her immortal, while Lois said her father would move to the Divine Kingdom the following week.
• Clark set out for a newly discovered universe, greeted the Explorers in Infinite City, and spoke with Diana about her goal of purifying her divine bloodline.
• Diana entered a universe resembling the DC World and searched for the giant beast she hoped to find there.
• Diana encountered Heisenberg sunbathing with Mogo on a snowy mountain, and Heisenberg said he had come to see Godzilla.

Heisenberg and Diana headed toward the newly awakened Godzilla as the Monarch Initiative tracked his emergence and movement across the Pacific. Dr. Serizawa chose to follow Godzilla rather than investigate the awakening MUTO, leaving the titan’s cocooned mate-to-be to suffer an electrical shock.

• Heisenberg told Diana that Godzilla’s world had hidden depth and should be reclassified, then they set off to find the titan.
• Godzilla awakened and surfaced in the Pacific, while Monarch observers tracked him and ordered their fleet to follow at a distance.
• Godzilla ignored the nearby ships and swam toward the South China Sea as Heisenberg and Diana sensed him from near Japan and continued toward the Pacific.
• Dr. Serizawa learned that MUTO was also nearing awakening, but Vivian persuaded him to follow Godzilla and leave MUTO to the existing plan.
• Electrical currents surged through MUTO’s cocoon at the Gojira Nuclear Power Plant, shocking him before he could awaken.

MUTO broke free of its cocoon and devastated the Gojira base, while Godzilla turned toward Gojira to confront the MUTOs. Heisenberg and Diana arrived, and Diana charged into battle against MUTO as Heisenberg introduced himself to Dr. Serizawa.

• The Gojira Base director ordered MUTO's cocoon destroyed, but MUTO emerged and shattered the base.
• Godzilla sensed MUTO and abandoned his curiosity about another powerful presence to head toward Gojira.
• Dr. Serizawa returned to the base, but MUTO used an electromagnetic pulse to bring down his plane; Serizawa and his assistant parachuted into the quarantine zone.
• Heisenberg and Diana approached MUTO, and Serizawa tried to warn them before recognizing Heisenberg's mysterious authority.
• Diana charged MUTO with her shield, knocking the giant beast backward, and Heisenberg introduced himself to Serizawa as Heisenberg.

Diana wounded the flying MUTO, tore off its wing, and brought it crashing down near Heisenberg. Heisenberg stopped and hurled the beast with one hand, while Diana resumed the fight and Serizawa watched in awe.

• Diana wounded MUTO and chased it into the sky, where she used the Lasso of Truth to reach its back.
• Diana carved into MUTO's wing root and tore off its left wing, sending the beast crashing toward Heisenberg and Serizawa.
• Heisenberg calmed Serizawa, caught Diana as she blocked MUTO, then lifted the beast by its jaw and tossed it away.
• Heisenberg wiped MUTO's blood from Diana's cheek, and Diana thanked him before going after the struggling beast.
• Mogo watched from Heisenberg's shoulder with an envious, jealous expression.

Diana subdued MUTO, and Heisenberg won the Titan’s willing submission by speaking its language. Serizawa pledged himself to Heisenberg, who then headed toward the approaching Godzilla, whom he called Little Fatty.

• Diana repeatedly struck MUTO with her shield, bound it with the Lasso of Truth, and dragged it before Heisenberg.
• Heisenberg roared in the language of Titans, turning MUTO’s surrender into willing submission and learning that it was grieving over its mate and unborn offspring.
• Serizawa agreed that Titans could benefit Earth’s environment, touched MUTO, and begged Heisenberg to let him follow him.
• Heisenberg accepted Serizawa’s request and asked him to help care for the Titans.
• MUTO sensed Godzilla approaching, and Heisenberg told Serizawa to wait while he went to speak with Little Fatty.

Heisenberg stopped Godzilla’s incoming tide with his Bio-field, then watched as the giant beast came ashore and roared for the unseen king it had heard. The chapter ended with Heisenberg laughing at the translated challenge: “Come at me!”

• Serizawa identified Heisenberg as Odin’s terminator, while Diana introduced him as the ruler of the multiverse and named herself his servant.
• Diana asked Serizawa whether humans had raised the MUTO, and he admitted that he had interfered too deeply in the giant beasts’ lives.
• Godzilla approached the Gojira coastline as the observation fleet prepared its weapons and warned of the waves he was driving toward shore.
• Heisenberg pushed back the approaching seawater with his Bio-field, leaving the watching humans cheering as Godzilla came ashore.
• Godzilla searched for the voice that had called to him, roared a challenge, and made Heisenberg laugh when its words were translated as “Come at me!”

Heisenberg defeated Godzilla with a beam of light, then ordered Serizawa’s Monarch Organization to manage the colossal beasts in the Hollow Earth. His attack awakened colossal beasts around the world, and Serizawa learned that all seventeen monitored sites had erupted into chaos.

• Godzilla challenged Heisenberg, who answered with a roar and provoked Godzilla into firing his Atomic Breath.
• Heisenberg spat a concentrated beam into Godzilla’s mouth, making Godzilla discharge a blazing sun and collapse unconscious.
• Diana told Serizawa that Heisenberg was the Sun God, while Heisenberg left Godzilla’s care to Serizawa and ordered the Monarch Organization to prepare a management plan for the colossal beasts.
• Heisenberg drew the sun back into his palm, then used the Omega Ray to connect with the Godzilla Universe’s sun and spread divine power through Earth.
• Serizawa rallied his subordinates to begin managing the giant beasts, but one rushed in to report that all seventeen global sites had erupted and their beasts had awakened.

As all seventeen awakened Titans rampaged across the world, Heisenberg healed Godzilla and sent him through the Bifrost to Mara Island, while Diana and Serizawa organized a response. Heisenberg then reached Mothra’s cocoon in Yunnan and used his light to hasten her transformation, leaving her close to awakening.

• Serizawa ordered the organization to drive the rampaging Titans toward one another, while Heisenberg dismissed the need for humans to rely on gods.
• Heisenberg healed Godzilla, who submitted and tried to leave, then sent him through the Bifrost to Mara Island.
• Serizawa asked Heisenberg for help against the seventeen rampaging Titans, and Heisenberg said he had already arranged their salvation before disappearing.
• Diana rode MUTO toward the nearest Titan, while Serizawa ordered King Kong deployed and prepared to lure the Titan at Outpost 91 from Japan.
• Heisenberg reached Mothra’s cocoon in Yunnan and infused it with golden light, rapidly accelerating her transformation.

Heisenberg helped Mothra emerge from her cocoon, then took her to Antarctica and killed Ghidorah instantly. Concluding that he had changed Earth’s fate and finished his vacation, he left Diana to manage the universe and departed with Mogo.

• Heisenberg decided to return to the Marvel Universe and claim the reward for his year of work there.
• Heisenberg arrived at his New York Theater, where Billy arranged for women to entertain him while he slept.
