I'd originally wanted to put this in the author's note, but I went over the word limit...
Let me explain some of the questions many readers had been concerned about.
Regarding the female leads:
Don't worry, I won't be writing much about female leads. Xiaotao served the plot, and she was the only female character I could think of who could achieve Nirvana through mortal means. She would ultimately have a beautiful ending and wouldn't become too entangled with the protagonist. The other female characters would all have their own missions. Take Golden Scale—wasn't that name a little sensitive? Her character card had already revealed that she was destined for greatness. As for Mo Ling, the protagonist had received her kindness, so he took extra care of her. And this lucky hamster would shine brilliantly in the farming genre in the Future. Wang Dong's ending had been written out long ago; her name simply hadn't appeared.
Regarding my writing style:
First of all, I majored in Chinese language and literature. Although some people said my style didn't conform to the logic of formal composition, I wanted to argue, but I had to admit it was true. For the sake of the effect I wanted, I had no choice but to make trade-offs—for example, the stream of consciousness during Ascension and Divine Punishment, the straightforward inner thoughts from multiple perspectives throughout the story, and the detailed descriptions that only appeared when necessary. I recognized all these issues. Aside from being absentminded and constantly making typos, I could still clearly recognize my shortcomings, make choices, and learn from them.
As for that reader who critiqued the story from beginning to end, I was both annoyed and amused. What I could promise was that I would try to write in greater detail later
