Personality

Tang San is initially capable of restraint and long-term planning. During the God Realm Committee dispute, he accepts a thirty-day delay rather than immediately confronting the Destruction God King 46. He also understands the value of leverage, attempting to bargain with Chen Fu after recognizing that direct threats no longer work 334.

His conduct becomes increasingly possessive and authoritarian when his authority, family, or divine positions are challenged. He treats the God King position as something inherently owed to him, rejects the idea of surrendering either Godhead, and declares himself the pinnacle and endpoint of the god path 322 323. His fixation on restoring Tang Wutong leads him to treat Wang Dong’er as a means to that end rather than fully recognizing her individuality 279 285.

God Realm Intervention

Tang San appears before the God Realm Committee as the Asura God King, where he agrees to wait for the Realm Wall’s Energy Tide before acting against the Destruction God King 46. He later manifests as the Sea God to battle Mu En, forming a trident and thirteen halberds to defeat Mu En’s Kraken form before Chen Fu’s mental-network intervention changes the conflict 60 61.

After Mu En destroys his divine sense, Tang San’s hostility intensifies. He expresses a desire to “cleanse” the Douluo Realm and continues to seek a path to eliminate Chen Fu’s growing faction 62.

Tang Ya Possession and the Star Dou Forest Battle

Tang San assumes control of Tang Ya’s body and confronts Huo Yuhao, revealing himself as the Sea God, Asura God King, founder of the Tang Sect, and Wang Dong’s father 279. He uses the Black Devouring Blue Silver Emperor, stolen or copied techniques, the Clear Sky Hammer, and Slaughter God power against Huo Yuhao 280 281.

His conflict with Wang Dong’er exposes the consequences of treating her as Tang Wutong’s substitute. Wang Dong’er destroys her Goddess of Light Butterfly and Sea God’s Trident Martial Souls, then embraces the Clear Sky Hammer as her own power rather than Tang San’s inheritance 285.

Refining God and Guixu Conflict

Within the Refining God demiplane, Tang San repeatedly battles Chen Fu and the collective force supporting him. He recognizes that the demiplane is using his pressure to temper the souls of its inhabitants into god-rank souls, but cannot prevent the process 278 295.

Tang San eventually breaks into the Guixu universe with the Asura God Sword to kill Chen Fu. Chen Fu’s World Disk repeatedly suppresses Tang San’s body and soul, while the Destruction God King seals the route back to the God Realm 328 334. Tang San is then restrained by the Destruction, Life, Evil, and Good divine artifacts together with Gungnir; his divine soul is heavily annihilated, and his physical body reforms on Sea God Island 335.

Douluo Minor Plane

As a child, Tang San accompanies Yu Xiaogang into Snake Valley and trades the Mysterious Heaven Skill to Chen Fu for an anomalous Thousand-Year first Soul Ring 357 359. The resulting Blue Silver Entanglement makes him unusually dangerous among young Soul Masters, causing several opponents to lose Soul Power levels after being poisoned 365.

Tang San later joins Shrek Academy, wins the three-ring team competition, and becomes the Star Luo Legion’s decisive contributor during the Angel Virtual Battlefield’s Legion Tournament 391 392. His performance earns him a God-given Soul Ring unaffected by Ring Severing Sword Qi 393.

After learning that Xiao Wu is a transformed Soul Beast, Tang San remains committed to protecting her despite the fact that powerful Soul Masters already know her identity 399 400. Much later, he undertakes the true Asura God Trial after defeating the impostor Asura God threatening the Clear Sky Sect 422.
