After Liu Feng defeated Wang Sheng and reached level 38, the teachers approved a semester-long survey to prepare for connecting the academy’s plants next year.

• Liu Feng joined Plant Academy, studied Plant-type Soul Beasts, and established a Blue Silver Grass experimental field with Teacher Huo.
• Teacher Huo and Liu Feng presented the field’s successful growth to the Dean and Director Alto, who appointed Teacher Yao to help expand the research to Baozi Mountain.
• Liu Feng and Teacher Yao found that the Skyward Flower was draining nutrients from nearby trees, and Feng Xue suggested introducing fire-attribute plants of different ages to balance the competition.
• Liu Feng and Teacher Yao tested the solution by planting Fire Thorns and Sun Sunflowers around the Skyward Flower, then documented the flourishing field and its changing ecosystem.
• Liu Feng proposed connecting plants across the academy into Super Plant Aggregates and a large Mimicry Training Ground, and Dean Mu brought the plan to the teachers for discussion.
• Liu Feng fought Wang Sheng, overcame his fractured arm with his healing abilities, won the match, and broke through to level 38.

Liu Feng returned to Xue Ling Province, helped develop its herb fields, and joined an expedition toward the Magma Cave. The group encountered Xue Bai’s hunt for a Ten-Thousand-Year Titan Snow Demon and helped bring the beast down.

• Liu Feng and Feng Xue shared a night together at Moonlight Hotel, discovered their Martial Souls could fuse, and parted before Liu Feng set off for home.
• Liu Feng detected Wolf Bandits attacking a merchant caravan, helped defeat them, killed the traitorous Yang Fan and the Gale Demon Wolf king, and took its left leg Soul Bone for his father.
• Liu Feng reached Xue Ling Province, reunited with Liu Qing and his companions, and heard about the Magma Cave, its rare plants, and the challenges facing Snow Forest City.
• Liu Feng visited Liu Bai’s grave and used Herb Networking to connect the herb fields around Li Family Town and Green Wood Town.
• Liu Feng, Li Zhishu, Zhang Feng, Zhao Wuwei, and Xu Wei set out to find the Magma Cave, but encountered a Soul Hunting Squad battling a Ten-Thousand-Year Titan Snow Demon.
• The Titan Snow Demon feigned defeat, killed Wei Long, and escaped from Xue Bai and the remaining hunters, while Xiao Yan stayed behind with the injured Ye Qingcang.
• The Titan Snow Demon charged toward Zhao Wuwei’s camp, where Xu Wei, Zhao Wuwei, Zhang Feng, and Xue Bai attacked it and Xue Bai severed its head.

Liu Feng survived the Snow Mountain expedition, secured a place in Duke Xue Song’s service, and helped build Plant Academy’s Plant Network. After breaking through to level 40, he entered Sunset Forest with Zhi Lin to obtain a Great Leaf Ant Tower Soul Ring.

• Xue Bai pursued Ye Qingcang for the Head Soul Bone, but Xiao Yan and the others escaped after the Mirror Shadow Beast died and Ye Qingcang fled underground with it.
• Liu Feng encountered Ye Qingcang at a hot spring and took the Soul Bone, but its illusion drew him into a vision of Ah Yin before Lotus Princess released him and disappeared.
• A Beast Tide drove Zhao Wuwei’s group from the mountain, and Liu Feng returned to Green Wood Town before escorting medicinal supplies to Dragon City.
• Grand Duke Xue Song offered Liu Feng a future position and gave him Whale Rubber, while Liu Feng later brought Alice with him to Green Wood Town.
• At Plant Academy, Liu Feng helped create the Plant Network, which improved cultivation and plant growth, then broke through to level 40 and became a specially appointed Teacher.
• Liu Feng chose a Great Leaf Ant Tower for his Fourth Soul Ring and traveled with Zhi Lin to Sunset Forest, where they found a vast Great Strength Ant Nest.
• Zhi Lin fought the mutated Ten-Thousand-Year Great Strength Ant Queen while Liu Feng searched the nest and chose the seven-thousand-year Great Leaf Ant Tower.

Liu Feng built the Plant Network, developed a new cultivation method with Ah Yin, and helped Plant Academy uncover and study Mysterious Wood Liquid. After using it to reach level 50, he traveled with Ah Yin and Director Alto to the Dragon Mountain Range to obtain his fifth Soul Ring.

• Liu Feng absorbed his fourth Soul Ring, fused with the Heart of Banyan Wood, and found a Ten Thousand Year Gale Demon Wolf Right Leg Soul Bone in the Great Strength Ant Queen’s nest.
• Liu Feng joined Plant Academy as a researcher, studied the Plant Network, and discovered that compatible plants could accelerate his cultivation while the Star Coral’s conflicting attributes injured him.
• Liu Feng used his potted Blue Silver Grass to cultivate with the Plant Network, reached level 44, and spent a year helping the network stabilize.
• Ah Yin enrolled at Plant Academy, and she, Liu Feng, and Song Mei studied Soul Power circulation before conducting controlled experiments on willing students.
• Liu Feng and Ah Yin’s Martial Souls resonated during an operation, and Liu Feng later woke to find he had reached level 45 and proposed to Ah Yin, who accepted.
• Liu Feng and Ah Yin investigated a changed Blue Silver Grass Clone, then uncovered Woodification in the Plant Network and found Mysterious Wood Liquid in the affected wood.
• Plant Academy studied the liquid and developed Myriad Grass Liquid, which transformed Liu Feng’s Martial Soul and helped him complete the Great Heavenly Circulation Method and reach level 50.
• Liu Feng chose a fifteen-thousand-year sunflower for his fifth Soul Ring, and Ah Yin captured it before Liu Feng began absorbing its ring with his new cultivation method.
