Xiao Mo fought through the war against the Demon Race while earning merit to save Bai Ruxue, then rushed to protect her from a trap set by Daoist Tianqiong. Bai Ruxue became a true dragon, but Xiao Mo died shielding her, and the dragon’s released fortune spread across the land.

• Xiao Mo left Bai Ruxue with Fuchen and Li Sisi, reached Demon Suppressing City, and began fighting the Yao Race while teaching the city’s orphaned children Heart Learning.
• After years of battle, Xiao Mo completed Zhi Xing He Quan, appeared as a Confucian Sage to turn the tide at the Great Wall, and carved his name into its stele before joining the wider war.
• Xiao Mo learned that Bai Ruxue was worsening and set out to return, but first rescued Luo Yang and continued fighting on the front lines as humanity gained ground.
• Shang Jiuli told Xiao Mo that Xiao Qing’s attacks on sects had made her bait for Bai Ruxue, and Xiao Mo hurried to Black Mountain Sect as Daoist Tianqiong moved to capture the sisters.
• Daoist Tianqiong trapped Xiao Qing and drew Bai Ruxue into battle, but Xiao Mo arrived, rescued Bai Ruxue, exposed Tianqiong’s plot, and used his Human Race Merit to cleanse her Killing Intent.

Bai Ruxue searched for Xiao Mo after his death while Xiao Mo entered a new life and began training under Jiang Qingyi. In the Western Regions, he met Jiang Xin and discovered Danyang Sect was sacrificing children, but a sect invasion gave them a chance to escape.

• Bai Ruxue defeated the cultivators who attacked her, then left the Four Seas to search for Xiao Mo after ordering them to seek a way to restore his soul.
• Bai Ruxue’s attempt to summon Xiao Mo with Shang Jiuli’s scroll failed when it shattered, and Fuchen warned that an ancient god may have noticed Xiao Mo’s soul.
• Xiao Mo began his new life in the Zhou Dynasty, studied swordsmanship with Jiang Qingyi, and broke through to Qi Cultivation Level 7 before entering his fourth life.
• In the Western Regions, Xiao Mo met Jiang Xin and agreed to help her find Big Sister A Zi, whom they learned had gone to Danyang Sect.
• Xiao Mo and Jiang Xin reached Danyang Sect and learned that Zi Xia had brought children there to make pills, with some already inside an Alchemy furnace.
• Zi Xia had Xiao Mo and Jiang Xin imprisoned, but Mountain Ghost Sect invaded Danyang Sect, and Xiao Mo led Jiang Xin toward the mountain’s foot amid the fighting.

Xiao Mo survived Xue Kui’s brutal training, protected Yu Yunwei, and prepared for the Myriad Dao Sect’s Sacred Son selection while Jiang Xin became the Buddhist disciple Wang Xin. The arc ended as Xiao Mo entered the martial arena and declared himself the demon of Myriad Dao Sect, with Wang Xin’s presence looming over the contest.

• Xue Kui forced Xiao Mo to kill Teng Ziming and Zi Xia, and Xiao Mo killed Zi Xia before taking Jiang Xin to Karma Blood Peak.
• Xiao Mo mastered the Blood Demon Blade Art, killed Wang Weijun and Li Chen after they insulted Xue Kui, and earned permission to take Jiang Xin to Kong Nian Temple.
• Xiao Mo left Jiang Xin at Kong Nian Temple, where she became Xu Jing’s disciple Wang Xin, then returned to Karma Blood Peak and met Xue Kui’s new disciple Yu Yunwei.

• Xiao Mo advanced to the Dragon Gate Realm, and Xue Kui asked him and Yu Yunwei to take care of each other and never die.
• Wang Xin reached the Golden Core Realm and, after a month of contemplation, told Xu Jing that the Buddha in her heart was Xiao Mo.
• Xiao Mo and Yu Yunwei arrived at the Sacred Son selection, where Xiao Mo entered the martial arena and called Wang Xin the Buddha of Kong Nian Temple and himself the demon of Myriad Dao Sect.
