"Boss, why aren't you asleep yet?"
Vanax's long legs coiled tightly around Yuri's thick waist, her pale, powerful arms looped around his neck. She leaned in close, warm breath carrying her voice into his ear: "If you can't sleep, can you teach me something?"
Yuri really couldn't sleep!
Human shame and beastly desire waged war in his mind. He somewhat regretted making the woman in his arms so beautiful.
"Teach me~ Teach me~"
Vanax had no awareness of her own peril. She squirmed and wriggled until she finally nudged away the last shred of Yuri's reason.
Yuri pressed the foolish bird firmly beneath him: "You want me to teach you?"
Vanax caught the hunger in Yuri's trembling, golden pupils. She averted her gaze, instinctively tightening her jade-like arms around his neck: "I—I do..."
Click!
The door locked.
Soundproofing activated.
On the second floor, Kate crushed her portable computer the instant the third floor went completely silent. She glanced around at the three men who dared not speak, then wordlessly lay down on the hard iron bed.
I'll let you have today. Tomorrow morning, I'll be the one filling the boss's bed. You want to mate with the boss?
Lie on the second floor and listen.
Noon.
After a whole morning busy in bed, Yuri carried Vanax out of the bathroom.
"Did you learn well?"
Yuri tossed the foolish bird onto the bed and dressed himself in front of the mirror. He turned on his phone and found that his good employee Yinsen had called him over a dozen times that morning.
"Mm!"
Vanax clearly hadn't adapted to her human body yet. She instinctively shook herself, trying to fling off the water droplets on her skin.
Slap slap slap slap...!
Yuri turned around just in time to see two large, high-frequency wobbling storehouses. His handsome face instantly darkened. He walked over and wrapped the foolish bird in the blanket like a sushi roll.
"Boss, what are you doing?"
"Shut up!"
Yuri opened the door and stepped out, only to hear a flurry of panicked noises from the second floor...
He went down and took one look—what a sight: three grown men squeezed into a single trench coat, while Kate had three all to herself—one spread on the bed, one on her body, and one covering her!
"Boss."
"Boss."
"Boss."
Yuri walked to Kate's bed, the only one who hadn't greeted him. He spotted the portable computer she was desperately trying to hide, though a corner still peeked out.
"Boss..."
Kate knew she couldn't hide it anymore. She sat up in bed, lowered her head, and pulled the portable computer out from under the covers: "I, uh, accidentally broke it."
Yuri just stared at her.
Kate forced herself to meet his gaze for a few seconds, but ultimately crumbled under the Leader's overwhelming pressure. She got off the bed, pressed close to Yuri, and rubbed her head against his arm: "I want to go up to the third floor and mate with the boss too~"
Yuri's mouth twitched. He shoved Kate away and said as he walked, "All you think about is mating—what kind of nonsense is that! All of you stay put and wait for me. I'm going to buy you some uniforms... clothes."
A flash of excitement crossed Kate's cold, beautiful face. Cats are sensitive animals. She knew the boss had already agreed in his heart. Tonight, she just needed to climb onto that third-floor bed one step ahead of that dumb bird...
Yuri had no idea what Kate was thinking. He opened the security door in the hallway, pondering what style of clothing he should buy.
"Boss!"
Around the corner, Yinsen rushed up with an anxious face. He grabbed Yuri's sleeve and complained, "There's an agent outside who claims to be from the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division. He's been loitering in the shop and won't leave. I called you over a dozen times—why did it take you so long to come out?"
S.H.I.E.L.D.?
Yuri pulled his hand free from Yinsen's grip and straightened his collar as he took the last flight of stairs. Quite a mouthful of a name, but no output to speak of, no defense to boast of. In the end, even the Avengers' funding came from Tony's Stark Industries.
The only thing Motherf—er could really offer was that pager he'd kept in a drawer for over a decade and the Cosmic Cube, which was actually under Hydra's control.
The slightly cramped first floor.
Yuri spotted him at once—the friendly, approachable village chief with a hairline that stretched all the way to his crown: Agent Coulson.
"It's a great pleasure to meet you, Mr. Yuri Ambrosius! I'm Phil Coulson, from the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division. You can call me Coulson."
No one could refuse the hand extended by a smiling Coulson. Yuri nodded politely, clenched his right hand into a fist, and lightly tapped Coulson's hand of friendship.
Coulson didn't find this awkward at all. He naturally folded his hands in front of his stomach and stated his purpose: "We learned from Tony that he was here last night. Regarding the Iron Armor that appeared at the Osborn Building and Stark Tower last night, do you have any information?"
Yuri chuckled. Tony wouldn't sell him out that easily.
Truly a master of social grace at the elite human level. Coulson caught Yuri's suspicion and simply pulled a file from his briefcase, handing it over.
"A Special Item Permanent Transfer Agreement?"
It read something along the lines of "The Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division hereby permanently transfers Howard Stark's belongings to his son, Tony Stark," and on the last page, Tony Stark's signature was clearly written!
"He sold me out just like that!?"
Yuri shook the document in his hand, the pages rustling with a "shuffle shuffle" sound. This wasn't how the script was supposed to go—had completely healing Tony's injury caused a butterfly effect in this world?
Coulson smiled again. "It's just a transaction, Mr. Ambrosius. We traded his father's belongings, which were supposed to be permanently sealed, for some information about last night: Tony said you were the pilot of those two Humanoid Aircrafts."
That bastard!
Yuri cursed that certain mustachioed man's low moral character in his heart. If you're going to sell me out, fine, but why did you have to splash mud all over me before the deal?
What did he mean by "pilot of two Humanoid Aircrafts"?
Since you showed no mercy first, don't blame me for being ruthless in return!
"Alright..."
Yuri put on an expression of "how sad that you've found out the truth," then spoke with righteous indignation in a loud voice: "Mr. Coulson, as Tony said, I am indeed the pilot of those two Humanoid Aircrafts, but who piloted them isn't important. I believe the inventor of them is the real key here!"
Coulson caught the implication in his words and quickly pressed further: "Do you know who their inventor is?"
"I do know, but this inventor is my beloved friend, my own flesh and blood brother!"
Yuri said with a straight face, rubbing his thumb and index finger together: "It'll cost extra!"
