History
A visits Konoha with a Cloud envoy and seeks access to its scientific weapons. At an exhibition, Nishikawa Tetsu instead shows him civilian technology and an “Electromagnetic Cannon” modified to function as a lamp. A leaves without the weapons he wanted. On the return journey, Root operatives ambush the envoy; A captures their squad leader and prevents him from killing himself 121 123 129.
During the fighting between Konoha and the Cloud and Stone villages, A attacks Konoha snipers while using Lightning Chakra Mode 180. As Fourth Raikage, he later objects angrily when Konoha rejects his proposal to host the Chūnin Exams at Raijin Gorge and holds them in Konoha instead 259.
Konoha’s technology remains a source of friction. A demands an inspection of Obito’s newly worn goggles during the Chūnin Exams, competes for a pilot site for Konoha’s communication network, and resists Konoha-backed infrastructure projects in Kumogakure before ultimately yielding 370 410 430.

He can nevertheless recognize the value of an approach he initially dismisses: although he calls Konoha’s commercial bodyguard work disgraceful, he is privately impressed by its ability to turn military strength into trust and business 122.
