Not long ago, Dark Naruto had used Corpse Demon Kiss to absorb the Tailed Beast Chakra from Gaara, and that hadn't taken long either.

But none of that applied to Obito.

He couldn't command the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, didn't know Corpse Demon Kiss, and had no Uzumaki Clan blood.

All he could do was use himself as a vessel, extracting as much of the Seven-Tails' Chakra as possible and drawing it into his own body.

The process was pitifully slow.

Obito froze in embarrassment.

He had spent all that time dreaming ahead and forgotten this most basic problem.

It would have been a major problem in the Real Shinobi World, too.

In the Engraved Tsukuyomi World, he chose not to command the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path because he didn't want to alert this world's Nagato.

In the Real Shinobi World, he could no longer command it at all.

The result was the same.

The only difference was that in the Real Shinobi World, he could take the person into Kamui Space and transfer the Chakra at his leisure.

Here, he couldn't.

A powerful lunatic was waiting in Kamui Space.

Make a little too much noise, and he might be taken out in one move.

So he had to do the extraction outside.

And outside, Karin Uzumaki could return at any moment.
