Background and Standing

The Human Race controls vast territory in the star sea and is considered a powerful race, though it is only slightly stronger than the average Pan-Spirit Alliance member. The Spirit Race is the alliance's absolute core, while several hundred powerful races and a smaller number of peak races stand above the Human Race in the wider universe 2.

Its rise was built through its ancestors' exploration of secret realms and the rare opportunities such places provide to produce Source Essence or create powerful cultivators. Access to new secret realms remains a core strategic interest; as the price of its alignment with the Spirit Race, the Human Race yields 20% of exploration rights for newly discovered secret realms within its territory 284.

For a long period, Eternal Beginning was the Human Race's sole Dominator. This left the race vulnerable: the loss of its only Dominator would have caused an immediate fall from powerful-race status, inviting pressure on its territory, resources, and population from opportunistic rivals 354. Lin Yi's advancement later made him the Human Race's second Dominator, substantially strengthening its position 449.

Civilization Advancement Assessment System

The Human Race Supreme Council established the Civilization Advancement Assessment Mechanism to identify and cultivate primitive human civilizations with the potential to produce future powerhouses. Qualifying civilizations are assessed by an Eternal Divine-level existence specializing in the Illusory Law 2.

Blue Star's original projected rating was Level 2, but it ultimately achieved a Level 5 civilization rating; Lin Yi earned a Level 7 individual rating during the same assessment 213.

Governance and Institutions

Human Race Supreme Council

The Supreme Council is the Human Race's highest governing body. It oversees civilization assessment and discusses matters affecting racial survival and development, including border warfare, resource distribution, technological development, diplomacy, and internal governance 2 440.

Venerable Lords represent different forces, factions, and cultivation paths within the Council. Despite competing interests, they generally seek compromises around the overall interests of the race 440.

Origin Star

Origin Star is the Human Race's capital planet, the seat of the Supreme Council, and the political, economic, and cultural center of Human Race territory. It lies in one of the Human Race's two Level 9 Source Energy Enrichment Zones and is defended by multiple Sovereigns, a Ruler, and dedicated guard forces 303.

Special Talent Cultivation Roster

The Special Talent Cultivation Roster concentrates resources on prospective pillars of the Human Race rather than merely talented cultivators. Its intended members are expected to support the race in war and crisis, not simply consume resources for personal advancement 302.

Roster members receive protection and cultivation support, including permanent residency and estates on Origin Star. Upon reaching Venerable Lord Rank combat power, a member leaves the roster and becomes one of the race's decision-makers instead 303 434.

• Human Star Realm Army — The Human Race's strongest official military force; it guards the race's territories and represents its foremost frontal combat power 215.
• Galactic Mercenary Alliance — A cross-racial organization with broad operational freedom, suited to mercenary teams, explorers, and independent cultivators 215.
• Human Race branch of the Pan-Spirit Alliance Virtual Network — A major source of information, knowledge, and interstellar communication 215.

Interstellar Position

The Human Race occupies part of a vast buffer region shaped by territorial exchanges, migration, and political maneuvering among larger powers. It, the Kunmo Race, the Rift Mantis Race, and numerous others serve as strategic pieces between the territories of major races 239.

Although allied with the Spirit Race, the Human Race has historically possessed shallower inherited foundations and fewer core resources than its peak-race partner 313. Its status nonetheless rose sharply after Lin Yi's emergence, especially when he won the Pan-Spirit Alliance Genius Battle—the Human Race's first victory in such a major event for several million epochs 324.
