The transition from Eternal Source Realm completion to the Constant Source Realm is described as the most critical chasm in the cultivation system. Even outstanding prodigies can fail to cross it; excellence within the Eternal Source Realm does not guarantee eventual advancement. 531 546

Breakthrough

Advancing from the True Source Realm requires a cultivator to expand and reconstruct their Chaos Source Sea in a single uninterrupted process as their Chaos Law comprehension breaks through. The reconstruction demands vast amounts of chaos energy and produces a visible vortex and pillar of light. 498 499

The critical step is embedding a complete Chaos Law framework throughout the Source Sea within a very short period. A failure can rupture the law veins, damage the Source Sea, cause permanent regression, or trigger fatal backlash against the Soul Origin. 499

Upon success, the Chaos Source Sea becomes denser and more stable: Chaos Power is reinforced by the embedded law framework and can be controlled through a nexus of Chaos Law extending between the Soul Origin and Source Sea. 499

Lin Yi's breakthrough illustrates that this transformation need not produce a proportionately large increase in Source Sea volume. His Source Sea initially expanded only modestly, while its density increased severalfold and each wisp of Chaos Power became more condensed and weighty. 499

Subsequent minor-stage breakthroughs also expand and reinforce the Source Sea. At the fourth stage, Lin Yi's law framework automatically extended outward and drew in Chaos Qi to fill the newly opened spaces. His entry into the High Order further increased Chaos Power, Soul Power, and energy-circulation efficiency. 521 534

Characteristics

Eternal Soul

Eternal Source Realm cultivators possess an “eternal soul”: provided they are not lost within the laws, their Soul Origin is not eroded by time. A Dao Master-level expert can theoretically resurrect such a cultivator regardless of how long they have been dead. 501

• This protection does not prevent death in battle or loss within the laws.

At the True Source Realm, external Chaos Power decays quickly in the Chaos Cosmic Sea, making close combat the standard. Eternal Source Realm cultivators can transmit Chaos Power over distance without significant decay because Chaos Law frameworks condense and stabilize that power. 501

Chaos Origin Seal Pacts

Chaos Origin Seal Pacts are the realm’s defining combat enhancement. A cultivator nurtures a secret art within their Chaos Source Sea until it condenses into a law talisman linked to that art’s origin. 501

• The talisman automatically resonates with its associated secret art.
• Resonance amplifies the secret art whenever it is used.
• Seal Pacts can cover offensive, defensive, support, control, mobility, and life-preserving functions. 536

A cultivator can begin nurturing their first Seal Pact immediately upon entering the realm. Each additional ten percentage points of law comprehension permits another pact, up to the ninth at 80% comprehension. Eligibility to nurture a pact does not itself mean that the pact has been successfully condensed. 501

The Nine Source Eternal Pact Art provides an alternative foundation for pact creation by extracting innate secret arts from Chaos Beast blood essence. Successfully forming a pact from a beast ranked within the top thirty produces a divine-grade pact, although the strength of individual divine-grade pacts varies. 502

For Lin Yi, this art also provided cumulative improvements to soul-comprehension aptitude. The ordinarily minor benefit—approximately one-twentieth of an ordinary Eternal Source Realm cultivator's comprehension talent per pact—became valuable because the gains stacked across his pacts. Higher-ranked blood essence could provide somewhat greater improvements; his Voidless pact's comprehension enhancement was roughly thirty percent greater than that of his Eternal Silence pact. 501 520 526

Combat-Ready Avatars

Only after mastering Chaos Law at the Eternal Source Realm can a cultivator create their first truly usable avatar. True Source Realm avatars are vulnerable to interference because the Chaos Rules sustaining them can be disrupted by attacks. 472

Law Comprehension and Combat Strength

Law comprehension is the core measure of an Eternal Source Realm cultivator's strength. Chaos Power and law comprehension form the foundation, while Seal Pacts and secret arts act as amplifiers; sufficiently large differences in the underlying foundation are difficult to overcome through techniques alone. 521

Exceptional pact combinations can nevertheless produce combat strength far beyond a cultivator's minor stage. Lin Yi instantly defeated a seventh-stage Eternal Source Realm trial body by combining Nine Nether Fire, Light of Eternal Silence, Awakening Radiance, Voidless, and multiple Void Pacts. His victory depended on exploiting weaknesses and coordinating techniques rather than simply possessing greater raw power. 531

The gap between Eternal Source Realm completion and the first stage of the Constant Source Realm is especially large. Seal Pacts remain within the Chaos Law framework, whereas a genuine Origin Law True Body is empowered by Chaos Origin Law. Lin Yi's Eternal Source Realm flame giant could reach Constant Source Realm-level pressure, but remained fundamentally a flame construct rather than a true Origin Law battle body. 537 543

• Lin Yi's Silent Nether Soul-Rending Flame combined energy-devouring and soul-devouring effects to grow stronger during combat. Its controllable quantity remained limited by his Soul Power. 552

Law Inscriptions and Equipment

Chaos Law can be used to construct precise inscriptions that strengthen equipment and formations. Lin Yi formed a carving blade from condensed Chaos Law power to repair damaged law patterns and later applied inscriptions for reinforcement, damage reduction, and accelerated recovery to his allies' armor. 521 536

Eternal Source Realm equipment can contain multiple layers of law engravings suited to different ranks of the realm. Lin Yi's complete-grade battle armor and configurable Constant Slash weapon each contained three layers corresponding to early-, middle-, and late-stage cultivation. Activating all three brought the equipment to its complete-grade state. 505

Progress can involve prolonged bottlenecks even within a single realm. Lin Yi remained at 59.99% for nearly sixteen thousand epochs before reaching 60%, while the final obstruction at 99.99% was comparatively slight and yielded to the combined resonance of his nine divine-grade pacts and Spiritual Enlightenment Qi. 534 548

Transition to the Constant Source Realm

The Eternal Source Realm serves as the foundation for an Origin Law True Body. A cultivator refines nine Chaos Source Seal Pacts together with their Chaos Source Sea and Soul Origin to form this battle body after reaching the Constant Source Realm. 536

Touching Chaos Origin Law establishes entry into the Constant Source Realm, but developing its battle body requires further cultivation and resources. Lin Yi touched Origin Law after 31,000 epochs in the Constant Source Tower, then reached 1% comprehension, at which point the first Origin Law mark appeared in his Soul Origin and his Source Sea began transforming. 549

Condensing an Origin Law True Body can be accomplished either through extremely prolonged refinement or by consuming Origin Constant Crystals. For Lin Yi's chosen method, ninety-nine crystals were the minimum requirement. Commander Lan Chen supplied this amount, and Lin Yi later used all ninety-nine to form the first mistlike true body of the Nine Radiant True Spirit Art. 544 546 552

The Emperor-created Nine Radiant True Spirit Art builds upon the earlier Nine Seal Cosmos Art and Nine Source Eternal Pact Art. Its nine levels strengthen the resulting Nine Luminaries True Body and permit the formation of true treasures based on the characteristics of its constituent pacts. Lin Yi selected Soul Devouring for his first true treasure, carrying an Eternal Source Realm combat foundation into a stronger Origin Law form. 549 552

Preparation for the transition includes more than accumulating crystals. High-quality breakthrough manuals and insights are costly, and major families and factions often keep the best accounts closely guarded. Lin Yi deliberately sought such knowledge rather than treating realm completion as a guarantee of success. 546

Social and Military Position

Status and Faction Leadership

An Eternal Source Realm cultivator is recognized as a substantial powerhouse within the Silent Cosmos Domain. In more remote great cities, cultivators at this level can establish sects or found families; realm completion can even be sufficient to serve as a city lord in some locations. 499 511 512

Breakthroughs carry social significance as well as combat benefits. The Wen Family formally sent Elder Wen Yong to congratulate Lin Yi after his advancement, whereas its elders had not previously acted in the family's name while he remained in the True Source Realm. Congratulatory gifts from friends and acquaintances are customary, reflecting the cultivator's increased standing and strengthening reciprocal relationships. 499 500

Within the Constant Guard, most members belong to a tier whose chances of reaching the Constant Source Realm are limited. A higher tier consists of cultivators capable of sweeping aside others even at Eternal Source Realm completion, typically through multiple divine-grade pacts, rare secret arts, special bloodlines, or unusual talents. This tier is described as having roughly a forty-to-fifty-percent chance of advancement. 512

Military Roles and Authority

Eternal Source Realm cultivators serve as commanders, Constant Guard members, and frontline combatants. On the Black Mist Sea Frontline, they may operate in squads led by Constant Lords, leaving fortress barriers to thin beast tides before retreating under cover. 580 603 606 609

• Tier Two defensive zones face Eternal Source Realm-level threats, with groups of Second-Order Black Silence Beasts active year-round and occasional Third-Order beasts. 564
