Orochimaru, You Really Have No Scruples

There was no one left in the Land of Rain, and nothing left to do. The villagers who had escaped through the shelters waited outside the village, but what came to them was not the God and angel who would bring them home. It was Nagato's body.

Konan was barely alive. Shizune had been treating her and had managed to keep her from dying.

But Konan remained unconscious. Perhaps in her dreams, Nagato had not died, and Yahiko was still alive.

"How is she, Shizune?" Jiraiya asked cautiously.

"She'll live, Jiraiya."

They had left the Land of Rain and returned to the Land of Fire. Even in a country that valued Medical Ninja as highly as the Land of Fire did, its towns and villages had no hospitals.

But Mr. An's casinos, Money Exchanges, and even caravan bases at least had clean infirmaries. Most of the time, they also treated local villagers. Now, though, they were packed with people.

Tsunade might have been considered big in certain respects, but in a hospital, she was unquestionably the biggest authority around.

Even so, she did not personally treat Konan's injuries. Shizune could handle someone who had already been saved.

Tsunade was dealing with a more troublesome patient: Uchiha Obito.

But she could not come up with a good solution, so she went to acting Hokage Jie and Orochimaru.

"Orochimaru, I never knew you had such a sense of humor. How can you joke with us about something like this?"

"It's a recent discovery. We haven't had a proper chance to test it yet." Orochimaru reached out and prodded the part of Obito's body that had grown from Tsunade's grandfather's cells, then continued:

"Prepare a body for each of them..." Acting Hokage Jie thought for a long moment before speaking slowly.

Tsunade needed
