Ten minutes later, Shui Xiuzhen finally woke up after fainting from excitement.

If Slaughter City were destroyed, all the criminals, wicked people, and Evil Soul Masters across the continent would have nowhere to go and nowhere to hide. Before long, law and order would deteriorate even further, and life would become harder for ordinary people.
So Ye Wen wasn't going to be a hypocrite like Tang San, thinking only of himself and destroying Slaughter City. He would take control of it instead.

The ruler of Slaughter City was the Slaughter King, whose true identity was Tang San's great-grandfather, Tang Chen.

Once I've settled in at Skywater Academy for a while, I'll take care of those two things first, Ye Wen thought. He couldn't quite fall asleep, so he sat cross-legged on the bed and decided to cultivate for a while.

With no other choice, she went to his bed and reached out to wake him. She didn't notice the little orb on the floor beside it.
She stepped on it by accident. Her foot slipped, and she toppled straight onto the bed.

"I-I-I just wanted to wake you up. I, I didn't..." Shui Bing'er stammered, not knowing how to explain herself.
"You don't have to use such a unique method to wake someone up. Even if you like me, you could be a little more subtle! We only met yesterday! Isn't this moving too fast?" Ye Wen said, exasperated.

"Hey, you don't understand," Ye Wen said, taking the orb from Shui Bing'er's hand and explaining. "This is called a Night Sleep Herb. It's a Soul Tool that helps you sleep. If you leave it beside you overnight, you'll feel three times as refreshed as you would after a normal night's sleep!"
