Background / History
Tang San had lived two lives and adhered to the Tang Sect's Mysterious Heaven Treasure Record, whose principles shaped his willingness to retaliate against perceived enemies. At Nuoding Academy, he intervened when Ye Wen assaulted his teacher, Yu Xiaogang, beginning a conflict with the opponent destined for his Fated Duel. Ye Wen could not kill Tang San before the required trial, but repeatedly defeated him to undermine his confidence. 15 16
After Ye Wen's second decisive victory and Xiao Wu's departure under Ye Wen's Master-Servant Contract, Tang San fell into a prolonged depression and stopped cultivating. Tang Hao eventually revealed himself after six years apart, encouraged Tang San to rely on his Twin Martial Souls, and personally guided his training. 100 102 103
Ye Wen later killed both Tang Hao and Yu Xiaogang, leaving Tang San despondent and vulnerable to manipulation. At Ye Wen's request, Qian Renxue gave Tang San the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud and directed him toward Sea God Island, restoring his ambition to become a god and take revenge. 163 171
Personality
Tang San is calculating in battle and readily combines martial souls, movement techniques, hidden weapons, and tactical planning. He led his team through dangerous travel toward Sea God Island, selected a Devil Octopus for the regenerative and flexible qualities he wanted for Blue Silver Emperor, and later sought to accelerate his cultivation by adding rings to the Clear Sky Hammer. 83 184 246 247
His central motivation becomes revenge against Ye Wen. Repeated defeats leave him fearful and despondent, but support from Tang Hao, the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud, Sea God trials, and rapid breakthroughs repeatedly restore his confidence. This confidence often turns into overconfidence after major gains, particularly after obtaining the Sea God's Trident and the Sea God's direct empowerment. 102 171 211 251 259
After Tang Hao and Yu Xiaogang's deaths, Tang San's hatred escalates. He attempts to abduct Shui Bing'er solely to hurt Ye Wen, is defeated by her, and later abandons the battlefield while his companions choose to remain and fight. 168 220
Abilities & Skills
Twin Martial Souls

Blue Silver Grass / Blue Silver Emperor

- Awakened into the top-tier Blue Silver Emperor at Level 50 and gained the Blue Silver Domain. 176 177

- Ye Wen comprehended and used the technique against him, breaking all eight of Tang San's Eight Spider Lances during a consecutive hammer assault. 128 129

- Ye Wen shattered all eight with Disorder Splitting Wind Hammer strikes. 129
Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud
Qian Renxue gave Tang San the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud under the pretense that it was a Heaven Dou Empire gift. It recognized his blood and became the foundation of his path to Sea God Island. 171

Collapse and Return to Cultivation
