Background / History

Bibi Dong was an orphan raised and cultivated by Martial Soul Hall into its Saintess and future Pope. She fell in love with Yu Xiaogang, a member of the enemy Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. After their relationship was discovered, Qian Xunji expelled Yu Xiaogang and confined Bibi Dong. He later forced her, resulting in the birth of Qian Renxue and leaving Bibi Dong with enduring trauma and hatred. The diary later suggests that these events may have been engineered as part of a larger divine scheme. 125

At some point before becoming Pope, Bibi Dong entered the City of Slaughter and survived Hell Road. She was one of only three people in a century said to have successfully escaped it. Her memories of the city’s corpses, bloodshed, and moral decay continued to haunt her in nightmares. 94

By the opening of the novel, she is the Pope of Martial Soul Hall and a rare Super Douluo.
